you know what i'm happy about? that we set our sights on a guy, and didn't take no for an answer. did we probably overpay? yep.

don't care. if he wound up or was/is/has been #1 on the list for any length of time, then do what you gotta do to get him.

and for that, i say well done.

With the amount of $$ the university has 1.5 mil is a drop in the bucket. Do whatever it takes to get back to winning. I honestly never thought we’d see that again. Seemed we were hellbent on losing forever. Chaney is a good coach. If we would’ve had a defense when he was here before Dooley might still be a hc.

Ok so brainstorming theory time:

-really only names that kept popping up in the last week the Pruitt met with(Lebby again & Tee)
-smoke from outlets that Johnson and weinke are looking around/being let go..something.
-lebby is only making like 200k at UCF/obv so easily pullable especially if you give a title like Run game Coordinator/RB ...Tee is unemployed.

Are Tee and Lebby replacements for Weinke and Johnson? That would be ridiculously impressive.
