I would like to think my desperate measures this AM broke us through the cycle. We need a special tres amigos signal. I think it works like Voltron and they form 98 Fulmer or something.

It seemed none of them were in tune...VQ, Low, Brice, 247, etc. Most coaches have that one guy in the press that they trust, and will feed a bit of info to (it's good to have at least one person in the media on your side); seems Pruitt hasn't found that guy amongst any Vol media, yet.

I'm so happy I don't know what to do with myself. As a vol, I'm unused to joy but then came the Bama beatdown, followed by the Vols whipping another SEC opponent, then we stole an OC from a divisional foe at a time when the candidate pool is starting to shrink, This is awesome. :cool:

we'd put pressure on a team that wants to play that way, to play faster at some point.

if you are going to play that way, then you better be basically mistake free and you better get excellent looks at hte basket. cause at some point playing us you're going to feel a sense of urgency about getting baskets, not limiting possessions.

Duke, UVA and KU are the teams that i'd call toss ups right now. i'd like our chances agaisnt most anyone else.

Brice's Twitter sounded like darts thrown at the board to me. Not saying one way or the other but that's the vibe i got.

I don't think Fulmer talks to Hyams like he did 25 yrs ago, I may be wrong. I just know Pruitt doesn't have that person in the press he chats with.

I think Hyams said Chaney's name 7 times in an article 7 different ways and referenced Fulmer specifically. 2 days before the news dropped and before AV confirmed talks occurred on Saturday.

Really? I didn't see that. Of course, I don't listen or read Hyams like I use to, either. Maybe I should start paying more attention to him again. Thanks.

Named a couple names and then ended with 2 paragraphs about Fulmer and Pruitt trusting Chaney etc. It read like

Let me tell you why Chaney is who we are targeting and you should listen.

I completely agree but the times I have worried is when we get into foul trouble. Also that little point gaurd for Samford (Sharkey iirc) showed a brand of play I think could work against UT. Samford was a tough little matchup. Sharkey basically hustled all over the court and got us playing undisciplined at times.
