Not sure he’s leaving. VQ reported earlier that he isn’t enrolled in school, and he got a draft grade back. He’s meeting with the coaches today and I’m assuming we’d hear something about it later today. He has until the 14th to enroll in classes.

Also, the article says he “departed” on the 14th and I’m pretty certain that’s around the last day of finals.

That title is very misleading. I wouldn’t be surprised either way.

I was as respectful as I could be. I think AV was very connected and I believe he still is. But here lately a lot of the info has just been plain wrong.

If you’re going to come on here and provide information, you have to accept people will discuss when it’s right or wrong. I think AV respects that.

At no point have I accused him of being a fake. But there is nothing wrong or disrespectful about discussing or questioning the accuracy of the information someone is getting.

People question and discuss media members all the time. But we can’t discuss AV’s accuracy? Why? Because he has done many great things for fellow members on this board? No one is taking that away from him, at least I’m certainly not.

I wasn’t responding specifically to you, rather those who mock and belittle him. I agree with you in the sense it doesn’t bother him. Everyone with half a brain realizes things change, especially when it relates to peoples’ decisions. People change their mind all the time.

AV simply posts info as he gets it. He doesn’t have the power to make that info permanent. The pathetic part is these posters know this. But unfortunately some people really enjoy insulting others. Maybe it makes them feel better about themselves. Maybe they’re jealous of the attention he gets. IDK. The very simple solution for these people would be to put him on ignore. Johnathan Crompton was every bit as bad as JG in his early years, and actually bad in a lot of similar ways, and Chaney was part of the staff to turn him around and build the offense around his strengths. Potentially big news for JG.
