Well, it is pretty much his world. He created it first and sold his soul to HBO. I am really pissed at him. He does not seem to care that his fans wait and wait and he has spent way too much time on the convention circuit when he should be writing his ass off.

It's going on 8 years since the last one was published. He didn't have to write his ass off. At a snail's pace, he could have had it done by now.

Lots of other good books out there to read in the meantime. For the sci-fi inclined, The Expanse series is good so far.

A lot of this can be blown up by the fact the entire team went to war on Twitter when Tua didnt get the Heisman.

A lot of it could be absolutely true and still not a big deal. There has to be a ton of drama on every team every year and almost all of it amounts to small potatoes. A hundred plus 18 to 22-year-old dudes, most of whom brand themselves as alpha-types? There are going to be happenings and opinions.

Heck, how many coworkers and bosses does an average person not like? Do they make you change jobs? Sometimes, but there are always annoyances we put up with no matter where we are.

That said, I wouldn't mind if this was the start of one of those times where it wasn't small potatoes.

I would almost guarantee you that he writes a different ending just to spite everyone. He is that big of a prick. He will end up pissing almost everyone off, and tarnish his legacy as a writer if he does it though.

HBO can do whatever they want with the ending. He may have told them exactly what he was planning or he may have said something like, " I am going to piss everybody off and kill all them MF'ers at the end except for Cersei." He has been quoted as saying they can bring aliens into the story if they want. So, I do think the endings will be at least somewhat different as the stories have already diverged a pretty good bit anyway.

It's his original story. I dont think he should follow HBO. Needs to go where his imagination takes him. Might be more Grand than what you seen on tv.

UPDATE

I appreciate the effort so much but unfortunately, don't believe your cousin will be able to assist.
Returning from the surgeon and apparently the damage covers the entire pancreas. Removal of a portion (I believe is what your cousin had done) is a no-go for me. Another Dr. specialized in a specific procedure followed by a nerve block, seems to be my only possible resort.

But that came with a suggestion of no working until then, so I could eat and deal with the pain that follows (dropped another 6 pounds to 126 this week).
Because of medical bills, not working is absolutely out of the question As is the cost of a trip to a "specialist's specialist" at/near USCjr for treatment, that he wanted to go through.

Dr. Midis is just concerned with my lack of nutrition and the extraordinary weight loss. But I can't pay what I no longer have.
I'll just do what I can and lean on you guys for support during the darker hours.
