I can't even fathom an NFL team taking him #1 overall. That would be colossally stupid to take such a huge risk. However if he has a chance to go #1, no matter how stupid I'd think the team drafting him is, you would be right that he should go to the nfl. I don't think anyone would take him though. Didn't AZ just draft a QB super early last year?

NCAA has opened a big ole can of worms with the transfer rule. When a true grad transfer names his school of choice, the rats start jumping ship because they don't want to compete with someone for one year. I don't think the NCAA saw this stuff coming when they allowed grad transfers.

Anything that gives the players more control over their own careers is a good thing, no matter any unforeseen consequences. Same with the rule that allows redshirts as long as you play less than 5 games. Kids already get screwed, schools can suck it up with some inconvenience of players jumping ship.

I take it all back. I'd expect nothing less from a pro team who hired someone who wasn't good enough to land another college HC job after getting fired. Clevelands time as the dumbest franchise is finally over.

Agreed, I think if a kid is in good academic standing and meets the requirements at his new college, let him play. Still counts against the 85 either way.

The only restriction I'd have is you can't transfer & play in conference, would have to sit a year. Competitive edge if you will.

I firmly believe with an offensive line and under Chaney’s guidance that JG will be a very good player.

And I can’t act like Hurts is some elite QB that comes in and takes the job. Oh he won a lot of games at Alabama? No **** everyone does.

Ummmmm he's **** lol, he isnt the future there and they already know that. Kingsbury has a huge man crush on Murray. If Keim gets who Kingsbury wants and Murray declares, they will trade away Rosen and draft Murray.

I don't think Michigan officially had an OC. if I remember correctly. Harbaugh and Hamilton split duties I think.

Off topic but listening to the first quarter this week with no Heather has been a breath of fresh air. I know they won't but they should keep it with just Tyler and Eric. She is a verbal boat anchor.
