I’m not even a big fan of Chaney but my god Eddie Gran is a down grade.
Imagine being top dawg in your division, captain of UGA's ship, losing your proven veteran OC in Chaney to a 5-7 Tennessee program and then two days later get turned down by Kentucky's OC? Yikes.

Doug Matthews said yesterday on Midday 180 that Chaney loves him some tight ends , and will get them involved much more than Helton to create mismatches.
I also love tight ends.

Footballscoop...

Georgia: Kentucky offensive coordinator Eddie Gran has been offered the offensive coordinator job, per Matt Jones of KSR. Jones adds that Gran has been offered over $1.1 million per year and would have complete control of the offense. Update> Sources tell FootballScoop the offer has been extended to Gran. As of this morning, sources tell FootballScoop Eddie was strongly considering remaining at Kentucky; but that decision was not final. Will update when we hear more.

Gran going to turn down Kirby? Muhahahahahahahha
Complete control of the offense would mean they're taking away some of Coley's responsibilities as Co-OC. I doubt he would be very excited with that, so I wonder if he's looking at that Miami job if this Eddie Gran thing actually comes to fruition for UGA. Wouldn't mind them losing a good recruiter.

Could not have worked out any better for the Vols if this happens imo

Why on Earth would they be looking at Gran? If Kentucky didn’t have the worst offense in the SEC, they had to be close and that was with one of the best backs in the SEC. They might as well hire Tyson Helton which I would greatly approve

Mixed feed back.

Like Hank, I was expecting Sark, but If they don't want to pay for a coordinator, the pickings will be slim, I guess.

Wonder what the possibility is of coach Gran wanting to bring in his own people.👀
