Complete control of the offense would mean they're taking away some of Coley's responsibilities as Co-OC. I doubt he would be very excited with that, so I wonder if he's looking at that Miami job if this Eddie Gran thing actually comes to fruition for UGA. Wouldn't mind them losing a good recruiter.Footballscoop...
Georgia: Kentucky offensive coordinator Eddie Gran has been offered the offensive coordinator job, per Matt Jones of KSR. Jones adds that Gran has been offered over $1.1 million per year and would have complete control of the offense. Update> Sources tell FootballScoop the offer has been extended to Gran. As of this morning, sources tell FootballScoop Eddie was strongly considering remaining at Kentucky; but that decision was not final. Will update when we hear more.
Gran going to turn down Kirby? Muhahahahahahahha
Could not have worked out any better for the Vols if this happens imo
Like Hank, I was expecting Sark, but If they don't want to pay for a coordinator, the pickings will be slim, I guess. Why on Earth would they be looking at Gran? If Kentucky didn’t have the worst offense in the SEC, they had to be close and that was with one of the best backs in the SEC. They might as well hire Tyson Helton which I would greatly approve
