Scott Frost makes a lot of Butch Style comments. Wonder how our fan base would be receiving him if he was our coach and had the year he has at Nebraska.
He'd still be in the honeymoon period. And people would forgive him for cheesy and/or dumb comments as long as he wins. People did with Butch when it seemed he was on an uphill trajectory.

Wait wait wait hold up. If you had the chicken pox in the past you’re gonna get shingles?!!?

Yeah same virus that causes chickenpox causes shingles. It just goes dormant for awhile. Then manifests itself later in life. Good thing is you very rarely get either twice.

Also the earlier you had chickenpox the earlier you usually get shingles.

The virus is living in your spine. Just like acid
I had shingles about ten years ago. It was f’ing terrible. Traveled down a major nerve ending from my back all the way to my legs.

Having had it though, the odds of me ever getting again are as low as me winning the lottery.

So, there’s that 👍

I’m hoping since it doesn’t hurt that bad right now it won’t increase

T dog I love your persistence with this placebo. Love it
You read too fast. It said a study was conducted using various randomized related placebo controlled studies starting in the 1950's. And the review in2015 the study showed cannabinoids were effective at relieving neuropathic pain that did not respond to other treatment (hence the placebos that was used and did not work, only the cannabis with THC did)

You need to be treated ASAP. I mean, like go to the ER if you have to. The longer you let it go, the longer you're going to have it, and the more pain you are going to have.

My mom had it, and she let it go for a couple days. She had major pain for months.

With all the research that was conducted for AIDS, complications from shingles can now be somewhat controlled and less painful. In addition, there is a new vaccine, Shingrix, which seems to be able to prevent or reduce the severity of shingles. It has been on the market for about 17 months but is in short supply. It is a two does regiment with the second shot give 2-6 months after the first shot. My mother had shingles three time so I have had both my shots.

Had shingles two years ago. Painful, yes. Friend had it a few weeks after me. His was terrible. Depends on where it flares up at. Legs, bad, chest uncomfortable. Face, terrible. If it goes in your ears or eyes or mouth can cause damage. I treated mine with OTC meds and a shingles specific ointment. Gets the worst when it finally"bubbles" out the end of the nerve endings at your skin. I had to sleep two weeks with my hand on my ribcage so I knew it wasn't bugs crawling across my skin there. Felt very strange. Finally subsided and took about a year for the blemish on my skin to heal and mostly disappear. My friend had to go the antiviral route. Was in his leg and couldn't walk, said it felt like needles jabbed into his leg.
