Yeah I was insensitive maybe but for real for real..... why post that? On a forum where everyone is under psuedo-names, no one there knew your mother, etc.

I was just questioning the 'why' behind it. But I did try and soften it up with a few "thoughts and prayers" after everyone kept calling me a horrible human being.

Uhmmm k

People post personal stuff here all the time, and no one flips out telling them to "keep it to Facebook".

The difference is, what, this is a free forum?

I think this a bit over-reactionary.

You can ride shotgun with Hubbs when he pulls up if you want to.

I get it, but it's easier to just keep scrolling. And even though there were a few of those "ugh idc" things here, I've come around to showing a shred of some compassion. We're all Vols fans here. Easier to be nice than to have to back up being crude.

Someone started a thread yesterday that was a dedication to his deceased mother. It was like a personal thing he wrote, to his mother, like "Dear mom in heaven thank you for blah blah blah my heart isn't the same."

I simply responded that I didn't understand why people make such personal declarations and post them on forums/social media.

Everyone white knighted and called me a SOB and a horrible human being. How he was 'honoring his mother.'

How is writing that **** on a football forum 'honoring' her? Go to her grave site and say that ****. Share it with family members, etc.

It went from there. Think it all got deleted. Idgaf

I might of, in a future life did something like that on here. It wasn’t taken so well.

So pretty much he called you out for being an *******. Like multiple people did a few days ago in here

Easy kid..... I came here to post VQ updates and kick ass.... and it looks like I'm about to be out of VQ updates.

PS - wtf did I do the other day? I can't keep up? I try my best to be Mr. Congeniality.

Ouch. Just saw Tate's going to UGA. That one stings.

Something tells me we're gonna be ok.

Ever thought he just needed to vent somewhere and felt like being anonymous was more comfortable?

When I was posting on here about my daughter being on death's door for the first nine months of her life it took A LOT off my shoulders because I could post it here, say it (write it) out loud and get it off my chest, and then NOT have to talk about it over and over in the real world. I relived the nightmare every time I talked about it, and still do to this day.

How about have some compassion for someone who lost their mom, ON MOTHER'S DAY, instead of ridicule them for writing out a little catharsis on a UT sports forum.

To be honest, you deserve the responses you got and, with the way you responded to Hubbs, even more. I sincerely hope that when/if you're ever in that position in the future, no one responds like you did.

I promise you.... if/when I'm in that position in the future, people can respond as they see fit. I tend to not take words on the internet too serious.

Please pull up.

PS - "a child." lolololol Yeah poor little 9 year old Jaydon Hill....
Well, obviously the poster who vented about his deceased mother did take it seriously and perhaps you failing to recognize that or outright denying him that is the real issue.

The guy misses his mom, on mother's day, and you complained about it. Internet or not, that was beyond a di** move.

And meanwhile I don't want to be a douche by telling Chatta to use fewer words.

Yeah, I usually write articles and I know I’m very wordy. I spend a lot time working on the article and I think based on experience it would take four times as long for me on my end to create the executive summary. I don’t typically engage in conversation on here but I understand your point and I can take a hint, especially when you're not the first one to offer it.
