Who’s signing up for that today?

*assuming the other wins are 4ooc and candy.

We will win more than seven games. Our OL will be better...DR was trash last year. He singlehandedly killed drives with penalties,at the worst times. It was like he was doing it on purpose. IMO, there is one other OL that needs to be on the bench. Hopefully Wright can start at Guard and Johnson can move out to tackle.

I tend to flop between 7 & 8 wins. I truly believe the offensive line will be light years better than last year.

Further on Florida, while their 2020 class is ranked 9th currently, its partly because they have 17 commits already. Of those 17, 9 are 4 stars and 8 are 3 stars. They've already had 7 decommitments from that class, 4 of which were 4 stars. They will probably finish this class around 12th if I were a betting man. Vols meanwhile have a major chance to get into the top 10. There's talk about Lawrence and Bailey being a 5 star as well so that would only improve the class. I bet Florida doesn't sign a single 5 star for the 2nd year in a row. Now is the time to turn this series around.

I talked Direct TV down to $70 a month without losing any channels.
How did you do it, so I can? I’ve already called and cancelled my service, and then the manager for the retention department called me and cut my bill in half, but that only lasted a couple years. Now, it’s up to $150, which is ridiculous.

He’s not wrong. If Pruitt wins both, it’s reasonable to believe he will eventually win big and people will be talking about it. If he loses both, people will likely be calling for his head. I don’t see a narrative, I see a guy who knows fans.

Seems like a big bridge to cross after 2 FBS wins. BYU...we are expected to win. UF would be big, but just 1 game. Remember Vandy was killing them last year. Mizzou tore em a new one. I just don't find those 2 wins very predictive. UF is NOT UGA/Bama. Those 2 would say something.

My parents had directv for over a decade and loved it until they wouldnt negotiate out a good price anymore. They now have TDS tv and its mediocre

My dad switches back and forth every 2 years between Direct and Dish lol. If he’s with one and the other is offering a special package with good pricing/DVR/etc he’ll give the one he’s with a chance but if they can’t match it he switches haha

He always has that new customer price and never pays much. Most just refuse to offer their current customers the pricing for new customers, so switch.

I'd take anything over Direct now that at&t owns them. Still don't have the internet for streaming but switching to dish was a major upgrade in customers service.

Direct still sending me random and complete fabricated bills despite my conformation code for my equipment return and zero balance. Had to threaten them with a harrassment suit.
That stopped them for this month at least.

Attendance, ticket sales and donations have been declining for several years. Stadium renovations have been scaled back and refocused on safety and infrastructure. The Vol Pass has been a flop for football. The Summer of Smokey has not been well-received. There's a "wait and see" feel around the program right now.

A good September creates excitement and buzz. A lackluster September indicates that fans and media were right to be cautious.
Anyone can talk about doom and gloom but you know Fulmer and Pruitt are going to get this thing turned around. If you're that close to the program, it should be easy to see. I don't believe in doom and gloom.

I agree that either 'hot seat' or 'championship' is too extreme based on 2 games, but that won't prevent talking heads from talking, and fans require zero facts before overreacting. I personally think that if we go 4-0, Pruitt is well on the way to returning us to national prominence, but yeah, way too early to talk about trophies.

Siap: Aggies on TN recruiting. To their credit, OP is at a net 21 downvotes. Very first response pretty much answers OP well. Rest of responses are mixed between hard truths (haven't been "Tennessee" in a while) and nice truths (history, revenue, big stadium, facilities, close to GA, etc)...and oh yeah even Butch Jones recruited well there. But it only takes 1 page before the discussion goes into whether or not Neyland is over a giant sinkhole that has to be refilled...ok I've never heard that one...just dead bodies.

Tennessee recruiting

For non-subs:

OP:
"I don’t know if they land anyone, but why do they seem to be in the top tier for a large group of top kids? There is no logic behind it. No huge-name coach, no major facilities upgrades, not geographically significant, it’s been a pretty long time since they were “Tennessee”... it doesn’t smell right."

First reply:
"Knoxville is awesome.
Fan base is huge.
Pruitt is a young, well respected name.
They have a hell of a lot more success historically than we do."
