To be fair, this decline isn't just with us. Last year when I got an email for the special "Teacher Appreciation Day" at Clemson, I couldn't go because I had something else to do. But I really want to go to a game there and thought this might be my only chance without paying ridiculous prices given their success, so I called them to ask if they do this every year. (I've been teaching in SC for 21 years and to my memory this is the first time I've heard about it.) I was considering changing my plans if necessary.Attendance, ticket sales and donations have been declining for several years. Stadium renovations have been scaled back and refocused on safety and infrastructure. The Vol Pass has been a flop for football. The Summer of Smokey has not been well-received. There's a "wait and see" feel around the program right now.
A good September creates excitement and buzz. A lackluster September indicates that fans and media were right to be cautious.
He really did seem to be doing it on purpose sometimes. Either that or he was mentally somewhere else and just going through the motions to be able to mess up that much.We will win more than seven games. Our OL will be better...DR was trash last year. He singlehandedly killed drives with penalties,at the worst times. It was like he was doing it on purpose. IMO, there is one other OL that needs to be on the bench. Hopefully Wright can start at Guard and Johnson can move out to tackle.
I cancelled and then called back in 2 days and negotiated with them. How did you do it, so I can? I’ve already called and cancelled my service, and then the manager for the retention department called me and cut my bill in half, but that only lasted a couple years. Now, it’s up to $150, which is ridiculous.
You do... But it's a one time expense vs paying lease fees indefinitely..Thanks for the answers. I've been researching today and think I'm gonna go with a ROKU if I drop Direct TV, which I will do if they don't cut me another really good deal. And I do have an HDMI slot on my TVs.
Oh, I guess I need a separate device for each TV?
Who’s signing up for that today?
*assuming the other wins are 4ooc and candy.
Not necessarily with data, but I run the numbers every couple of years or so. I don't believe cutting the cord would save a whole lot of money, if at all, as long as I manage my cable bill.
Have people been disengaging after last season? Last season got me MORE excited for this year because I saw a lot that Pruitt and Co. can work with. This surprises me.
It’s going to save me money, just not as much as I’d like. Long term outlook though is at least I don’t have to worry about contracts and large price increases so I’ll probably still make the switch. The biggest cherry on top is no more haggling to manage my bill.
YouTube TV ftw. There's no way in hell I'd go back to Comcast or Dish. I get internet and HBO thru Comcast for $49 and YouTube TV for $49. You can record literally anything and you get locals.Ok...time to catch up on this YouTube TV talk. Just noticed at&t bill skyrocketed to $200! Started at $105 2 years ago. Helll naw they gettin canceled. #NoInterviews
You know what worked pretty good for me....T Mobile. Since they have unlimited Data, we had 4 lines. Me, my wife, and daughter and used the extra line as a home phone/hot spot. It was decent. The downside is if you have a big home all the devices will not have strong connections. It was convenient and portable. We took it on the road with us. But when my wife started working at home full time, we needed a more reliable/stronger connection.Yeah I would say you probably needed unlimited with your situation. I probably don’t, but I’m still considering it.
