First thing the panel mentions is the length of his statement. Yall think he is desperate to get asked about he we will fair against UAB versus a chance to recruit to Rakim and others? Good lord

I highly doubt that Jeremy Pruitt cares what they put on the banner, so why should any of us?
Public perception is important for recruiting. If someone like ESPN is making a mockery of the HC it means the HC doesn't have any respect. So why should a recruit get coached by a coach who isn't respected?

eh. i wouldn't worry about it. and ESPN's job isn't to help us recruit.

i am curious...do we know if they did that with the banners on any other coaches? i haven't seen anyone else....

Were there no lighthearted taglines for the other coaches? Surely some humor was placed in with the other coaches as well. I haven’t been watching though.

Why not 13 of the last 15? At least go back another year and fit our narrative not Florida’s, unless that’s what you’re after 😏
(I feel my inner @butchna coming out here lately)

Does 2-13 over the last 15 make you feel better about where we stand against them? You can even take it back another year to 2003 and then we're 3-13 over the last 16. The point still stands. Also, that's why I included the whole record since we started playing them every year in 1990 of 7-22. You have every right to be as optimistic as you want to be, God bless you, brother. But I've just quit doing it when it comes to Florida. I hope I live long enough to see that change.

And just to be clear, I'm pretty much a sheep for Pruitt and feel cautiously optimistic about the long term future under him, Florida is just a special case given our history over the last 5 coaches and 29 years.

Right now, Smith, Morris, Kennedy, Wright and JJohnson are our best players. JJohnson is versatile and can play wherever he's needed. His size held him back, but he's up to 300 pounds now-- maybe a bit more.

It'll be interesting to see how the other guys have developed in the offseason.

Add a big TE and we could be pretty stout as the season progresses. Jacob Warren has really bulked up, too.

Johnson has got a lot stronger too. Our strength program is really starting to come around. Both lines have greatly improved their overall strength.
