If Pruitt wins 7 or more games this year he’s second on Bama’s list to succeed Saban.

On one hand I hope Saban stays long enough for Pruitt to get us back up to 9-11 wins but on the other hand I’d almost trade Pruitt for Saban retiring at the end of the year. Hard choice to be honest

No I don’t think the next guy will make as much UNLESS they get into a bidding war for their guy. Obviously if that happened with us finding 3 times as much to pay our guy would be much harder than them paying the same as they already are paying.

I’d guess their next coach will make closer to 10mil than 5

I can get your not liking The Natural — to each his own, I'm actually not as big on it as a lot of people are. But the best is Major League and it isn't even close?? Dude, dude, duuuuude!

I liked Major League, it was a very funny movie. It was meant to be a light and silly comedy and it achieved that, which is fine. But almost every other baseball movie that's been named on here is a better film. And that's not even close.


Edit: imo, ML isn't even the best comedy about baseball. Bull Durham is way better.

He may have a lot of support....but there is one man there who can single handed blackball JP...and he has said in past he would due to some unfortunate circumstances that occured while JP was at Bama. This is not to be taken lightly and from multiple folks i have spoken with unless major amends are made JP stands no chance at that job in the future.

Do you think they pay anyone other than maybe Dabo what saban is making? Pruitt would have to win like 3 titles in the next 3 or 4 years to get an offer like that. And if he does that, I think we would match or exceed the offer. Bama ain't throwing 10 mil at a coach that hasn't won multiple titles. This is also just a stupid hypothetical based on creating something to worry about. Maybe it happens eventually but there is no indication it's happening anytime soon. Let it go toby. We all just wanna get excited for the season to start.
