Price thoughts

I don’t see how they can survive a guy with Fitz’s intensity in the offseason and then look so passionless and gassed today.

Maybe they need to lift weights during the season just as hard they do in the offseason to fix that...

Absolutely no excuse for this.

OL experience, DL depth, all valid reasons to lose to an SEC opponent, but Georgia State? Just horrible.

I’ve always considered myself a massive optimist, but it’s so hard to believe Pruitt can ever accomplish anything here if he can’t beat Georgia State in his second year.

You still stand by your shtick that Jones recruited plent of talent they just weren’t developed? That defensive line looked really slow and lacking talent. How do you coach a player faster?

FYI I still stand by my statement that Jones couldn’t recruit players on the line of scrimmage. You know where the game is won.
Most that DL is sadly from -this- staff, I am questioning a first time HC knowing wth to do to prepare his team.

I think cross training at every position isn’t smart, how many guys were swapped out on both LOS this game? How can ya learn a position you’re getting limited snaps at playing?

I think Kennedy & Trey were the only 2 OL that weren’t swapping positions during the game.

I keep trying to think of something to type that's gonna make me feel better, but I just can't think of anything. I hope Baily and the others we have committed stick with us. They are such a big part of our future. I don't think there is any doubt Baily will be the starter next year. I still believe in Pruitt and I know Chaney is a good O.C.. I believe in Ansley, Neids, and tee. I have no faith in Friend and Rocker. we continue to get dominated on both lines. We all know that's where you win in this game and though they have made a strong effort to fix that on the O side of the ball, the lack of strong D line recruiting is concerning. I just hope we can get things righted next week against BYU, I have to believe The players will be ready to put it all out there next week.

Maybe I finally reached apathy but me and the fam headed over to the property with some smore basics and a tent...must say fun without the risk of severe disappointment sounding pretty good right now.

Well, that was quick. I have an extra negaVol member badge here at my house. Give me your address and I’ll mail it over. It’s an ass with poop on it I wear one everyday.

UT would become a case study in mismanagement. I mean, it already should be. I think the future you described is actually inevitable. The sentiment I'm seeing EVERYWHERE is that fans are apathetic. Not mad. Not sad. Just given up. I didn't see that nearly as much even during 2017 and certainly not before it. There was always hope of firing the current guy and hiring someone else to pick up the pieces. But we've done that too many times and now everyone sees it just isn't working. People are giving up and still stop attending games.

You saw it today with how quickly the crowd left. I'm afraid that UT has destroyed it's fanbase. And this will hurt the rest of the programs no doubt. Nobody will believe in the football team until they actually have a good season. Problem is that will hurt recruiting substantially and that is the quickest way back to winning.

Maybe so - but a wake up call to what?

Get BT back, get bituli out there, play trey as many snaps as he can, throw the dang ball down the field and take shots, stop playing for FGs, take no team lightly!

Sorry but if we 100% prepared for their option and still gave up 24 1st downs and 38 points, then thats even more worrisome. Jmo but i think staff is still too confident (up until today). This 8, 9 win crap lol. These guys still have a lot of waking up to do. They arent at bama any longer. Gotta coach up and scheme like they never had to before.
