He clearly cannot process information in real time. He may just be slow.

Maybe, but I wonder if he’s just too risk averse. Everybody always talks about how he throws so few interceptions but a big part of that is always checking down to safe passes. If you’re gonna make big plays you gotta get it out there. No one wants a mindless gunslinger but you have to let a few good percentage throws fly when you have talented receivers who can make plays on the other end.

Gotta wonder if benching JG and playing a freshman is worth it. At this point JG isn't going to get better, Maurer has a much higher ceiling . I say play him and gain exp. JG is so slow and has zero touch. If he hasn't learned it by now he never will.
I’m telling you JG would never start another game for me. He’s a great kid, but he’s not a winner at qb

We had Ty Chandler with about 6-7 Carrys, the Gray kid about the same and he was breaking ankles and we give Jordan carrys? We have a QB that if you didnt see the game you'd think his QB rating was all SEC. I'd have more respect for Pruitt if he played Maurer or Shrout and let one of those 2 show what they got. At this rate with JG we might be lucky with 3 damn wins. No I ain't smoking. That's what I see after this debacle.

A part of me, albeit very small, would actually watch with popcorn if the UT athletics just started imploding from the inside out. Fire Pruitt, get an even more head scratcher coach, fans dwindle to maybe 40k a game, not enough money is coming in, other programs start hurting, and UT athletics is basically Candy from 20 years ago.

What a terrible display today. No energy from anyone and that was from kickoff. The team looked confused numerous times but postgame comments were baffling to me. Clearly trying to give Georgia State credit but this was a rather weak and pathetic performance no matter who the opponent was. At some point you get tired of being kicked around...this group just doesn’t look like it bothers them after today. I’ve had several conversations with these players dating back to camp in June and they said all the right things. But words are words and that doesn’t punch anyone in the mouth. Pruitt loves to preach they compete each day and the best will play....id open it up and if a walk-on out performed some people this week then I’d play them. I really thought we would see some fire and passion after the game but I didn’t. Really just a head scratcher. Hard to see this team flip it on next week but honestly kids are kids and you can’t explain how things transpire at times.

UT would become a case study in mismanagement. I mean, it already should be. I think the future you described is actually inevitable. The sentiment I'm seeing EVERYWHERE is that fans are apathetic. Not mad. Not sad. Just given up. I didn't see that nearly as much even during 2017 and certainly not before it. There was always hope of firing the current guy and hiring someone else to pick up the pieces. But we've done that too many times and now everyone sees it just isn't working. People are giving up and still stop attending games.

This is a 1-11 team. You can't flip the mindset during the season, especially not when they're receiving weekly beatdowns. It's a complete and total disaster.

Our only hope is a massive improvement at QB that can spark a fire under the entire offense. Defense is likely a lost cause because there's no leadership.
