Hubbs also responded to the Murphy terry with ā€œthat might just sum it up right there.ā€

Point is, Hubbs is making comments like these because thereā€™s serious issues behind the scenes and itā€™s not good. Fulmer might have to make a change if it falls completely to ****. And this weekends game will tell us a lot.

Okay.

I think I remember Atlantavol posting something along the line of it would be a huge disappointment if we lost a couple of games this year & things would happen.

Thank you Ron for seeing the light!

To give the illusion he's trying
Lol god this reminds me of this random drunk I spoke to in Knoxvulla circa 2011. Guy said Obama is just being nice until he reveals his "true plans" in his 2nd term and is building internment camps šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚

And I know you're just spitballing Cat. Just reminds me how weird humans can get when feeling stressed.

I'm trying to remember, but when was the last time an AD hired a coach that got fired before his second season was over (that wasnt due to some off the field scandal) and survived himself.

Iā€™m with you man, I speak Hubbanese also. And like you said, heā€™s not making comments like these unless itā€™s a serious problem already with the possibility of an implosion on the horizon.
I still donā€™t believe he nor anyone on VQ has a clue. He might be GUESSING correctly...for a change.

Not even that and tried to take over and was successful. Fulmer is way past the glory days & that would make the ship sink that much faster & that buyout will kill the program.

I think Fulmer will get another chance because he came into the role very late and had very few options. Plus, it's Fulmer. But, it's two strikes for sure. And once Fulmer is gone, that's it. Peyton is in the Haslams' corner, apparently. There will be no one left who cares.

So is everyone cool with the chance of Fulmer taking overšŸ¤”...I think it will be more of a disaster
I wouldn't do that. Here's where I'm at, if we have to fire Pruitt, and I hope we don't. I hope that he fixes this culture and goes with youth. But if he doesn't and we go 2-10 or something crazy and he's fired, I'd pay Mark Richt whatever it takes to get him out of retirement. I don't care what his ceiling is. I don't care. I just want to be respectable. Then we can talk about moving up. We are at the bottom of the SEC. I just want to be average right now. Put us in tier 2 for now. I'd offer Richt whatever it takes if he'd come if the worst case happens.

No idea. Maybe never? But when was the last time our players and coaches looked so unmotivated, like they did Saturday, while the worst D1 team in America kicked their asses up and down Shields-Watkins?

I can promise you one thing, programs like UF and Auburn wouldnā€™t allow it. Theyā€™d fire the entire staff before they got off the field. I guess they just care more.

Who is Murphy anyways ? Jordan Murphy ? That kid should be glad heā€™s getting a degree, if he is, because he isnā€™t playing football. These boys donā€™t know what it means to not quit. And that wonā€™t end in college football...

We need a leader at QB. Facts. You think this team plays like they did yesterday if we have Hurts or Fromm or someone like that? Not a chance. We need a leader at QB who makes everyone around him better. We don't have it. We don't. And until we find that guy, we're going to continue to stink. We need a Baker Mayfield type. I really hope that Bailey is that guy and he sticks with his commitment.
One QB with Mayfield's swagger would fix the entire culture problem from the team to the administration to the fans - everybody. We'd finally have the mental edge again.

Guarantanoā€™s never lacked for swagger...just lacked anything to back it up. Someone who swags AND doesnā€™t panic in situations is whatā€™s needed.
