We’re also fine at RB except in the pass protection aspect from them. It was awful last year and it was awful on Saturday. That sh** wouldn’t fly with Gillespie
And Ty HAS to hang on to the ball.Nobody wants to say it but he helped GS score as many points as he did us.
I'll take the flaming but it happened.

Oh you can’t take up for fumbles. But they happen sometimes. He’s at least our top 3 playmaker if not the best one. So I’m not taking the ball from him

If I’m Chaney and Pruitt I put Crouch at RB. Practice all week with Ty, Crouch and Gray at RB. Go out there Saturday night and run it 75% of the time. Play action and force JG to throw it down the field 5-10 times and we win.

Oh and fix the damn defense.

@JeremyPruitt @JimChaney You’re welcome.

But dude, that makes way too much sense... they'll never go for it... I think they hand it to Jordan all night and let him get his 2yds...

One LB was Ignont, which is the one who just seems to be jogging. Who was the other who bit on the wrong hole and was a step behind the play?

Also, the playside DE did what you're not supposed to do, which is tip-toe up in there and then react. The going logic right now for how you stop these kinds of offenses is that you attack the meshpoint, which increases the chance you disrupt the handoff and/or force them to declare where they're going with the ball, which increases the liklihood that the QB makes the wrong read. By pussyfooting around, you give the qb time to make a read and everyone else behind you is froze waiting to see where the ball is going to go.

I'm surprised our former DC Head Coach who was known for fire and brimstone pressure threw a defense out the that was so gW@#$d@#43ed timid.

I said it during the game and was ridiculed as being a reactive fan....but it is evident Ainsley isn't ready.

He caused 2 TOs almost 3. I understand why he never came back in the second half.

That’s not efficient football tho. I def agree with taking more shots whole heartedly but gotta go about it the right way.

I agree that it’s not also.😂😂 but hell Farr I’m tired of seeing the box loaded.throw it make them respect you.unfortunately no team or player respects JG.

Our boys need to sack the frick up. Plain and simple. They didn't forget how to football. They better live in the film room this week and come out on the field Saturday knowing BYU better than BYU knows BYU. They better be able to recognize every formation and how to line up to stop it. Every last UT player better be able to do it.

Pruitt needs to find some passion and some fire. Holy crap. He was flat and the team followed. Sack up Jeremy!

TY is my dude and I can’t believe he’s fumbling like this. Those scrimmage highlights showed him fumbling too.

Our best unit is our veteran senior wideouts. Callaway, Jennings, Palmer and DWA are more than capable of winning 50/50 balls and back shoulder throws down the field. Especially if the running game is working and it’s play action.

Again, practice Crouch all week at RB with Ty and Gray. Go into Saturday night with the game plan of smash mouth running with Crouch and speed/edge running with Ty and Gray. I saw that BYU DL, they’re not good. Run it right at them over and over and over and call play action once in awhile and throw the damn ball up to our playmakers. The offense needs juice. The entire team needs juice. Go create some with your playmakers and run right at those pasty white Mormons.

YES

I don’t know how any of you could stomach watching that again. Not sure how you could take anything from it.

Watching it live was enough. Lack of effort. QB locks on to one guy and hell or high water is going there. I was screaming “he’s open” all day. Not all his fault. Collectively sucked. Especially coaches. Play calling was as bad as I can remember.

Possession before halftime with zero sense of urgency, throwing into double coverage in the end zone (bailed out with PI), overthrowing wide open receiver.

Then the Ga St drive to open second half.

I’m dying thinking about this. How do y’all rewatch it?

This offensive line cannot block effectively enough to allow us to pound the rock with our running backs. That ain’t gonna happen.

We’d be much better off throwing quick slants and screens but those plays don’t chew up a lot of time and it’ll hurt our defense.

I believe he's at 5 fumbles between 1 scrimmage and 1 game but he's our best player.
That's more than Banks...I don't understand what happend

Ron’s figured out the offense. See this isn't hard. Somebody figure out why Flowers is clueless in run support and teach someone how to Star. Then we’ll be good.

He's not good at gaining yards, better at blocking and holding on to the ball. And 3rd and short, believe he got us 2 1st downs, hell of a lot better than the QB sneak anyway.

We ran two QB sneaks. The first one was great and we got great push resulting in 2 good yards

The other was awful. Someone here said Smith didn’t block anyone on That one
