Beasley looks better. Mitchell looks like an SEC lber though. Him and Banks look the part now. A lot of kids look bigger this year. I’ll be surprised if Beasley starts over Mitchell.I expect Beasley to be a lot better this year. He was a high school safety and running back who started his career here as a safety. He had zero starting experience and limited time on special teams when he missed all team activities for months because of an exaggerated (and mostly fabricated) lie told on him. You would have to think that not only being behind from a football standpoint, there were a lot of things mentally and emotionally that he was still coping with last season as a result. We get to enjoy games, sometimes neglecting the fact that these are still young adults (kids) that we scrutinize and criticize. Like I said....I expect Beasley to be A LOT better this season and Mitchell to be a huge contributor. I expect Banks to be one of the best in the league this season. Page doesn't have to be spectacular. He just has to be consistent, sound fundamentally, and not hurt the team as a reliable back up.
I figure it's a bobcat but I'm just going off of what is told to meNo reason to hide it if it's true. But I'll believe it when I see the evidence/report. West TN I would be more inclined to believe. If it really is one they'll do DNA to determine origin. In Kingsport I would suspect it's most likely an escaped/released pet.
I've seen TWRA agents misidentify a lot of wildlife, overwhelming majority are not biologists but law enforcement. And shoot, we saw the hoopla over the "Tiger" in South Knox that ended up being a large bobcat lol
So your son is going to be playing softball?coaches are coaching long ball.
i'm gonna coach mine to stand right over right side of plate, show bunt, then slap it up middle. when rounding first dont look up, head down to second, spikes up.
third? steal it.

7-8 year olds are not hitting it out of a little league field…..that field is probably 200’…. My son played travel ball for 11U and the fields are usually around 220’ but little leaguers also have to use USA bats and not the good ones. These kids are playing on fields and bases that 7-8 year olds play on in most leagues. The LLWS has always been a sham and if you or your kids played any kind of travel ball you know that kids this age should be playing on larger fields.
You are correct. I always laugh at the LLWS cause in our area Little League was an after thought. I remember playing travel ball watching LLWS on tv seeing kids play on fields that 7-8 year olds played on. You either played AABC then Travel Ball/USSSA started to explode around 2004 in East Tn and pretty much took over the area. Little League kids were totally unprepared once you got to middle school ball and the bases and mound went to the real dimensions.
