Agreed. We really kept them in the game ourselves with bad defensive play. If we just make two or three more stops and not get beat deep, we beat them by twenty plus.

I wi give him some credit. His aggressive calls kept Florida in the game. If he punts they get blown out. Thing is TN didn't punt today either.
There were 0 punts in today's game.

He’s careless. His timeout before the half made it easy for Tennessee to score the TD. The two point conversions were nonsense and it cost them a Fg opportunity

Whatever you want to say about our defense, our run defense is really, really good. I think we need personnel help on the back end. But we are a bend but not break and hope to get a couple of turnovers, which will win most of our games.

Yeah if we can recruit & development the secondary guys into elite talent then it could work. But we don’t have those guys yet.

Not sure if Willie/Banks can get the secondary there or not.

I agree with you in general that seeing guys wide open catching passes, drives me crazy. But in regards to tonight that was the game plan! They were NOT gonna play too much man, and allow Richardson to run wild, therefore play zone so you can keep eyes on QB. They just kept finding open spots in zone.

Just got back to my hotel from the game. Stayed in the stadium afterward until security kicked me out. I soaked it all in. Incredible atmosphere. I’m not going to say we’re back. I’m going to say we’re good again. That sounds better. Man it feels so real.

We just couldn't string together 4 plays since Billy Sunbelt always went for it. I thought our defense was bad last year. This defense has improved, it just needs to take another step or two over the off week so we can get a road win against LSU.

We likely don't score without that Butch timeout and we may have gone to OT if he just kicked FGs

I am really surprised they didn't have more success with their RBs and less success passing.

Wow, App St lost to James Madison.

In Charlotte, Tennessee shares a bar with App State for the watch parties. They stuck us in the small room and gave App State the rest of the bar and the outside patio. I can tell you which group was louder by deca decibels.

If all the high rated ‘23 guys come in & this year’s freshmen take another step and continue getting better as the year goes on.
