we do not stay wide on the ends and allowed him around the edge to much. we had multiple shots and were too shallow. plus had some bad open field misses due to not breaking down to tackle. Like running with your head down.

I get where your coming from, but I’m speaking strictly from a game plan standpoint.. However execution was an issue, several missed tackles by players who were in position.. let’s also keep in mind Billy Napier went for it on every 4th down but 1. Even on the negative side of the field, Typically coaches are punting but he knew they had to go for it to keep up. So to some extent garbage stats.

But I agree with yal that defense backs are still a weakness and concern.

What a game. Ugly at times, but highly entertaining. I had faith at the end we’d stop that final play. Just seemed highly improbable UF could beat us like that for a third time in 7 years.
