I actually don't think that's true. Hendo's basketball days I think actually hinder his running a bit. He tries to stutter step, juke, or spin too often and often slows down to do it. Milton is a very upright north/south type runner. Both are very fast but when one just makes the cut and goes versus the other being willing to dance around more it makes Milton look like a better runner when he's really just a big fast runner. He rarely makes anyone miss in the open field like Hooker or Dobbs can.

I agree—I’ve always thought he moves like a basketball player. I love it.

Thinking about driving over to BR from Houston for the kegs and eggs. I looked and visitors normally sit in 402-404 or 641-643. Anyone can confirm that?
Our seats are in Section 403 purchased through UT ticket office. Our friends are in Section 640, also through UT ticket office.

Ran into the coach from Libscomb Academy at physical therapy again today. I told him Edwin Spillman was on campus for a tremendous atmosphere and game this past weekend. He said he's a special talent and very hard worker. A great kid. Since I know the coach is a vandy fan, I showed him a 30 second recording i did from my seat of UT running through the T from this weekend and the checker Neyland atmosphere. He said "man I was going to say I could wear some orange but I just can't do it. That looks like it was a lot of fun for ya'll though". I told him it was one of the top 3 games I've been too at Neyland 😁
How can someone that coaches football for a living be a Vandy fan? Is he a Vandy grad? Why would even a Vandy grad be a fan of Vandy football? It makes zero sense. Only a true masochist could be a Vandy football fan.

Mincey may love being a Vol more than anyone. Everytime I see him or pics of him, he's either carrying the flag, singing Rocky Top at the top of his lungs, or celebrating with the fans with a massive smile on his face...after the Pitt game, there was a clip of him with the fans in the endzone, and he was loving life, screaming Rocky Top. Happy for him, as he seems to feel right at home sweet home.

How did Florida lose him? Coaching change or just not happy there? Whatever the case, I'm glad he's here. He's been a great player and representative for us.

I figure the coaching change had a lot to do with it; Mullen was fired on Nov 21, and Mincey went into portal on the 29th. However, judging by how happy he sounds and looks to be in Knoxville, he was ready to get out of Gainsville it seems, no matter the reason.

I still question his processing speed. Feels a bit like Bailey back there or...still yet...Milton 2021. He definitely seems to have a grasp on his deep ball now (that's huge), his medium passes are downright bullets, and imo he has slightly better legs than Hooker, at least breakaway type stuff.

Just need to see more from his processing. Everything else has 1st round potential. And if anyone can progress him, it's CJH.

I'm no doubt excited to see him as the man next year. Going to be wildly entertaining one way or another.

That is certainly the main key that unlocks it for him. Scouts have to be drooling over his physical tools, but are understandably wanting to see more from him on the rest.

I don’t know if I’d say he has better legs than Hooker. Maybe breakaway speed? But idk. Hooker certainly has more escapability and shiftiness in open field.

But yeah, IF he can put it altogether he has a real shot to be one of the first QBs off the board in 2 drafts from now. I will say, I have no idea who is projected to be in that draft at this point but still, I don’t see many QBs at all that would be drafted ahead of him if he figures out the mental side of the position.

I've always said this about recruits and young people in general. For some of us, the best thing we can do for ourselves is get away from home for a while so we can find out who we really are. Some are better off staying put because they will thrive in a familiar environment while others need to explore. It's not always easy figuring out which thing you need to do but this seems to have worked out well for him.
