i have seen teams win that first game after firing a coach like 100 times in cfb over the years. Its very common. Same with NFL.

And not every game plays out the same. Who cares.

I was being sarcastic...Pitt had a bad game and sucked today, they did not suck against us.

You would think these coaches would start realizing they have to bring it every week.

Narduzzi is good for one or two head-scratchers per year, as well. Was hoping he would have one against us.

Honestly, outside of that beat down against Oregon in Week 1, Georgia has looked exceedingly average.

They are a very physically talented team. They play down to competition but they are going to be double digit favorites against everyone they play (maybe minus SECCG)

That defense is nothing like it was last year. We may give up 45 points, but I feel our offense at full strength can put up 46.

Agree to disagree though I do want to see us play fast and aggressive on D. I just don't hold our roster deficiencies that effect our scheme against the current staff as much as you do. I choose to be encouraged by the player development, improvement in finding ways to win and the fact that it's obvious that our coaches want to be aggressive but realize when it will help us and when it will hurt us. Last year we didn't have enough depth on the DL and only had one serviceable LB but had more talent in the secondary. I guarantee you that if this year's team had Alontae and Theo (or a comparable CB and Nickel) then Banks would be calling games much differently.

We are way ahead of schedule and are winning with some glaring roster holes and a lot of guys that previously were not SEC caliber players. Coaching/development and play calling are the only reasons this is happening. If we fall apart and only win 7 or fewer regular season games then I'll be critical. I don't see that happening and feel like we win 9 games which not many staffs in the country would be doing at this point in our rebuild.

We are so far ahead of schedule on offense that it's hard to quantify it.

Being so far ahead makes our defense look worse, even though they may be on schedule or slightly ahead.
