i have seen teams win that first game after firing a coach like 100 times in cfb over the years. Its very common. Same with NFL.

That defense is nothing like it was last year. We may give up 45 points, but I feel our offense at full strength can put up 46.

I think their defense is really good lol... And I can't see our defense doing a whole lot with what they bring to the table offensively...

Maybe we got them at their best at that point? I’ve watched them and they played their best game against us so far. It’s not a knock on us, but it’s statement of both teams playing at that time and we all thought it was a hard fought game AT that time.
