Really hope Golesh doesn’t take a HC job somewhere, you would have to think he would take a number of our offensive coaches with him if he does (Hazle in particular)
Same here... started to post this earlier - more worried about Golesh than Heupel leaving - especially before we get this thing really up & running full tilt (I feel like it's inevitable Golesh gets a shot at a HC job, just hoping for as much time as possible).

If that scenario happens, Hazle is top in line for OC job. Also, he follows Heupel, not Golech. Heup was his QB coach I believe when Hazle was the backup to Sam Bradford at OU.

As far as Heupel and his coaches are concerned, his current staff is not made up of all his first choices. I know of at least one position coach who turned down an offer to come to UT. That being said, any coaches hesitant to come to UT two years ago will be begging to come here now. If any staff leave, I am confident Heupel will find excellent replacements.

I think part of the scheme is to protect some deficiencies.
Maybe. I kind of feel like Martinez needs to coach up his guys more. JMO. I expect someone will take offense, but I don't really care. I think Hadden has what it takes to be an SEC corner. Don't know enough about Charles. But I don't think it's all on personnel. For those arguing it is, realize you're blaming the players just as much as I'm laying it on the DB coach.

Hazle gets promoted to OC if Golesh leaves. Book it.

I don't think he takes any of our actual position coaches with him if he gets a HC gig, but he probably would take some off the field guys.

I know a couple on the defensive side turned us down. Most notably Al Washington. I bet he regrets that decision.

Not sure about on the offensive side.

It is just what it is…. We are missing our number one corner…. Burrell….. Hadden has potential but is here bc he wasn’t winning a job at Auburn…. Charles has potential but the staff believes that he is more suited to play safety…. The safeties struggle in space and our linebackers struggle against the pass as well…. I think they had played above where they should be this season… They were solid in every game except Florida when Burrell was out and we played more zone…. WM is proven as a DB coach, imo…. Questioning Banks is fair but I feel we should at least wait till we fill up the DB room with quality depth.
