That means they have the same matchup concerns I do. This game would be a no brainer if we just had even a mediocre defense.

I believe they think with this being in Death Valley that the LSU defense can hold us down just enough to outscore us because our defense is a sieve.

I suppose they probably have the total points in the low 40s?

I hope they (and my pessimistic brain) are wrong, and the defense finally plays a proper game and we roll them by 14+

The total opened at 62 and has moved to 64

Maybe Daniels throws it to the wrong team a couple times. Or I’ll take a couple strip sacks - if the #1 QB in the country all star Will Levis can fumble 2 possessions in a row to decide a game then Jayden Daniels can too.

He uses a lot of his media outbursts as a stage to motivate his team too. This one seems a little ridiculous. The media definitely won’t fire back in fear of losing credentials so if you’re a Tuscaloosa media member, you have to sit there and take it.

Yeah we haven't quite been the true 1stquarterboys YET.

That said our Q2/middle 8 game is much better, so no complaints!

If we ever combine the 2 we will win every game before halftime.

I hope so...we are due for an opposing QB to have an off day.

I don’t see Brian Jelly being as aggressive as Butch Napier.

No way he goes for it on 4th down on his side of the field multiple times.

So for that reason alone we will get more stops and our defense will play better.

And when we turn those into points they will start to force things and spiral out of control.

His arrogance and ego won't allow him to. He won't admit that he has to make big gambles to compete against anyone. I believe he'll call the game basically like any other game he's coached.

If they'd use a decent looking gray they'd be fine but instead of a nice charcoal they went with a really flat boring shade. The helmets look good but they need to work on the general uniform color/shading if they are going to keep them around. Right now, it's still the same gray given to every other school in that era.

he def mentioned today they are being conservative on offense bc of the issues.
