I don’t think our defense is great by any means but in any other game, our defense has quite a few stops. It’s almost unheard of to have someone go on 4th down against you every time no matter what. I mean it’s tough to stop a team from getting 10 yard on 3 plays but stopping someone consistently for 4 plays is very tough.
It is a product of how good our offense is that FL didn’t feel like they could stop us and the only chance they had was to gamble and it paid off. Most teams won’t find the consequences worth the gamble of going for it on 4th so often.

All that to say, yes we should have stopped them some on 4th and that’s on us but I don’t think you see many games like that.

I just hate the 10-3 possibility. I'd say 14 gets scored in the 1st qtr though. Maybe they'll have alternate spreads closer to game time. O12.5 in the 1st would be sweet.

I think there’s no question that Dooley was our worst coach. And the record vs ranked opponents is a big reason why.

And yet he’s my favorite of our failed coaches. He’s the one I genuinely liked the most. Obviously I’ve wanted all of them to succeed but nobody could make me laugh like Dooley. I was really pulling for him.

I do think Vegas knows what they are taking about but they aren’t the end all be all. There are multiple games every weekend that go off the wall one way or the other. We are due a game that we win by a bigger margin than Vegas calls for, kinda like the PSU vs AU game earlier this year. I think LSU is a good team but I think we are better. I also think we have potential to quickly turn a 3 point game into a 24 point game. I’m also an eternal optimist, so you know…

I wouldn’t be quite either if he scolded me like that but in his defense, the media asks stupid questions and are asking for a rebuke.

Missouri vs Georgia Saturday 28.5 favorite… it’s confirmation bias that Vegas is always right cause we just really remember the ones where they are right on the money.
