Heard it was more that people got inside info in certain areas in NC. Way it used to be here in VA. VABC has cut down on that with this system. Random drops at random points in the day. Buddy notified me a drop hit Instagram. My apologies if that rubbed people the wrong way here.
Actually that's correct. Tho some stores will post on social media when they get certain ones delivered... Like moths to a flame.

As I've been paying attention to all these posts the past few days, I've decided I'm gonna do some shopping in Georgia tomorrow on my way back to NC.😁

Downright disrespectful to Coke to call a pepsi a Coke. I still contend your ilk are in the minority. I made a study of this at one point and most southerners in my circles don't use coke for everything. My wife from Texas is actually the only one I know personally who grew up saying coke for everything.
Pepsi is garbage, I agree. But I think its the opposite of disrespect to refer to all carbonated beverages as "cokes".

Nobody calls Pepsi, Coke. It's not Coke. It's a coke.

You might've misunderstood what I was saying. I call a carbonated beverage dispensing machine a "coke machine" regardless of what's inside it. And I think that's extremely common, because I've rarely heard it said otherwise.

O6.5 1st qtr is only @ -190 odds for UT. Was hoping it'd be better. May take o7.5 1st qtr @ +135. I think we will score 10+ in the first quarter.

1st qtr total pts isn't bad @ o13.5 -130. I think 14pts will be scored in the first. What do y'all think?
I grabbed UT -.5 @ +105 in the first quarter earlier this week. On DK the game line opened at -4 (or at least that is what I first saw it Sunday evening). I think we win by at least a TD so I grabbed it at that line Sunday night because I though the line would move towards UT. We'll obviously I was wrong haha. Monday morning I saw it on DK for UT -2.5. It has now settled at -3.

Idk what holler you’re from, but round here we ask…

“What kind of Coke you want? I got Sprite, Dr. Pepper, and root beer…or water.”

Since we’re still talking copperheads, my cousin was walking in the woods right behind her house on a trail she’s cleared. She was mostly looking down because you know you can’t see those things! She felt something looking at her so she looked up. There was a black bear sitting behind a pile of brush watching her! She ran screaming all the way home. And, yes, she does have goldilocks.

"What do y'all want to drink?"

"Coke, if you've got it"

*brings anything that's sweet, black and fizzes as a coke, as long as it's not diet. Any flavor or brand that is diet is a diet coke*

But inevitably some of those machines will be pepsi machines. It must be hyper local or in very rural areas, I've asked hundreds of people this question in my social circles in the 6 southern states I've lived in (always in suburbs though) , and very very rarely have I ever heard anyone say they call everything coke. I was a coca Cola apologist for a while, I wouldn't even drink Aquafina I was so devoted. I mention that to explain why I would have been asking such a niche question to so many people haha

Not sure this is true at all. I think we have to continue to have our offense rolling and need to tighten up on defense. The Florida game shows our defense needs to limit explosive plays. I'm not saying LSU is terrible at all. I just don't think they are a bigger threat than Florida. I think Richardson is a better QB than any LSU QB.

Not sure if you watched the LSU/Auburn game or not. Auburn is bad. Like really really bad and ran out to a 17-0 lead on LSU. Let's just play our game and I think we'll be fine.
I disagree on every point lol. Lsu is better and AR is not as good as Daniels

A short list of words that if I hear an East Tennessean say, I know what that person is talking about:

Coke (any soft drink but Mtn Dew. Mtn Dew has earned the right to not be called coke)
Kleenex (any tissue)
Chap stick (any lib balm)
Magic Marker (any permanent marker)
Tennis shoes (any physical activity shoes)
Church shoes (any dress shoes)

Buggy=shopping cart

I dated a girl from NY in college and she thought me calling a "cart" a "buggy" was the funniest thing she had ever heard.

But none of them are Pepsi machines. They're (lowercase) coke machines. Like the beverage (Coke) has also become the general term for the type of object. Just like someone mentioned Kleenex being the general term for a tissue paper for many people. It might be Great Value brand tissue paper, but it's not incorrect to call it a kleenex (lowercase).
