Adams often spoke poorly of the Vols because we deserved it. We were crap for a long time but didn’t want to admit he was right so he was the problem.

Adams has been on Basilio praising Heupel for a long time now and comparing him to Spurrier as a gameday coach. It is high praise and I think it’s accurate.

It is time for some to admit that maybe our treatment by ESPN, Adams, Ubben, etc has been a result of a bad football program/athletic department and less so about an agenda or being trolled. Dan Wolken being the exception because he’s a toolbag.

But Adams was trolling the fan base in the 90s too. Even as a kid reading the KNS, I recognized his condescension. I try to let people be, but the best course with Adams is just to ignore him. He really is an OG troll.
