lol What??? Where is Kentucky's history?

Wait. What? Tennessee doesn't have a history of winning? Aren't we in the top 15 of winningest college football teams? We may not be quite as high as Bama, but we're no slouches. A bad 15 years does not erase our history.

I'm convinced KY fans smoke too much meth.

Glacier is the prettiest place I've been to in America.

Grinell Glacier hike was well worth the time. I wish I could have spent a month there.

Later in the summer, the better. Believe it or not, the main pass doesn't open until June, sometimes mid July, because there is still snow.

I think there are several places that are all equal in beauty to each other...after seeing 4 of the mighty 5 of Utah and all of souther Utah in general, and Yosemite NP and the Sierra Nevada, Rocky Mountain NP, the Big Sur coast and The Tetons and Wind Rivers, I have given up calling any place "the prettiest"

I have not been to Glacier yet, but I am sure it will rank up there with all of them.

so true

They are working real hard on this narrative. Its funny bc UT practices in the morning and this is no big deal to them.

I know LSU said sold out and I'm sure it is technically, but there are over 3,000 tickets still on 3rd party sites starting at $41 per ticket available for the game. Technically yes sold out, butts in the seat is a different story.

I like how your sense of time and distance get completely skewed when you go out West. Driving 3.5 hours from Chattanooga to Asheville seems like a pain in the ass to me, but something that's 7 hours away by car in Utah or Wyoming seems like a quick trip.
I love just the drives out there.

I saw that too...people are so stupid. Last I checked we are still 2nd all time in the SEC and we were almost dead even with Bama when Saban was hired.

If you're gonna bring up history, you might want to actually look it up.

🙄 idiots these days…

I enjoyed both. I read the books before watching any of the series. I thought overall, the series was very well done. I don't hate the final season as much as some do. It had some good moments.
He was actually talking about WoT in that post...I know the convo was kind of confusing to follow.

I get why HBO and GoT kept going...but if we're all honest the Arya moment was good enough to end the series on.

Not sure why there is always this push to wrap things up in a nice bow and try to give each character a "walking away" moment in TV shows.

I disagree that the Arya moment would have been a good enough end. The story wasn't finished at that point. The problem is the 2 douche bags rushed the ending because they wanted to move on to a Star Wars project that ultimately fell through anyway. They did a disservice to the work they had put into the first 5 seasons where they had fleshed out the story and drawn people in. People were rightfully disappointed by the massive dump they took on the story.

I guess I disagree on this point...especially if the goal was to create spinoffs.

There is never truly a winner in GoT and that's "the game" once you get the cheese you're then in the trap and it's just a matter of time.
The game of thrones was never the point, the series is "A song of Ice and Fire" which is just a big red herring in itself. It is all just Martin's big middle finger to the world....everybody and everything sucks, and then you die.
