You sound like my dad. I swear he’s had nightmares of that kick off return for the last 26 years.I have felt that way for a long time...Phil got entitled, lazy and stubborn as the program slowly rotted to the ground, and he got left in the dust by better program managing coaches.
I am not a Phil guy, and never was after the 96 Tiger High game.
He still had ego and self-interest. He was the good guy that would have either been corrupted or torn apart by trying to do good for various parties. All humans succumb to the game...the process. Absolute power corrupts absolutely and all that jazz.Jon had no desire for any of that crap either..he just wanted to save everybody.

Imo *that individual* was moreso reflecting a process, not a monarchy in power. Jon and other humans would not have been a process change, just another human at the top.
Also...I'm not saying Jon should have been king, I figured it would turn into some primitive form of democracy by the end while reading the books, but I just don't think putting a computer in charge of the world is a great idea.He still had ego and self-interest. Imo *that individual* was moreso reflecting a process, not a monarchy in power. Jon and other humans would not have been a process change, just another very human individual at the top being chased and attacked by other humans. *that individual* could end that cycle.
Agreed, Danielson hangs off of Sabans sack by his teeth1. No, I won't post it. I will shrivel up and die if I hear any more of Danielson's love fest.
2. Because our dbs haven't been good and he was a highly rated juco player. His highlights look pretty good. He takes more risks than most and comes up with some nice ints.
Yeah that Florida run, the defender had the angle on him and he knew he wasn't going to outrun him. Small isn't the fastest back, no knock to him. Sampson or even Wright and soon to be Seldon might have taken that to the house.
It was reported at the time that Dobbs parents wanted him to have a redshirt season… it was weird that it was one of the few promises he tried to honor.
Sorry to hear this friend, Lord this family needs you right now, we ask you to touch this precious young lady and comfort this family during this process. Touch, heal and comfort as only you can. AmenI don’t post much about it, but my wife could use every single prayer available right now. Probably not happening today even though she’s in a lot of distress. Doing everything we can to try and give her comfort.

Yeah a lot of his points made me shake my head. But his greater point of it just being a miserable life for everyone involved with no real “hero” (Jon Snow) to speak of, or even a comic relief (Tyrion) character is the vibe I got when I watched Ep1. I’ll admit I haven’t watched since. I just really don’t like the fact there’s really no one to root for like there was in GoT.
It might be a scheme thing.I don’t expect him to outrun him. But he just stepped out of bounds without any contact. Push back into the defender and fight for extra yards. Stiff arm. Try to break a tackle. Even if he gets tackled or pushed out, he could’ve gotten a few more yards. That’s twice he’s done that and it’s bizarre.
That is actually not far from the truth of Martin's writing.
I didn’t have a rooting interest. The first four seasons were the finest television I’ve ever seen. The quality began to dip in season 5, season 7 was messy but had some cool moments, but I found season 8 atrociously written and at times offensive in its stupidity. Are you alluding (eluding for my affect/effect peoples) to the suggested plotholes or absurdities of the end battles? I could see that, except absurdities and deus ex machinas were throughout the show and nobody seemed to care until their character didn't "win" which in many ways must be ironic for the writers. Not that everyone had a rooting interest, but it seemed everyone I've talked to had some person they wanted to "win" like it was the very kind of political battle they were mocking in the story itself.
