Had a friend ask why I don’t seem nervous about the game, I don’t know. It’s just different this year. I know we have a legit coaching staff and QB that will at the very least make enough plays to give us a chance in the end most likely. I’m not longer nervous about the “impending meltdown” or having to say “we can win if we do this that this that”. This team is fun to watch, yes sometimes not so much on defense. But still. It’s not that I’m delusional and think there’s no way we lose. This is LSU at their place, period. It ain’t going to be easy to win. (Even if we win by multiple scores like I think we will, it’ll be hard earned. ) But we have a team that likes that, they embrace the challenge.
Because we now have:
A real coach
A real SEC caliber QB
A real fun exciting offense
So, as they say in the SEC office, now:
IT JUST MEANS MORE!

He had 11 TDs. Sorry but I don’t consider those stats as great. Good? Yes. Great? No.
I would consider it pretty darn good. I mean good enough to get drafted in the second round. Great might be a tiny stretch but I would be foaming at the mouth to have him here right now

Wonder how long they'll hold Max Johnson out? They should've started out with Max Johnson or at least put MJ in sooner. Wonder how MJ got hurt? Probably left him in too long. . .
Hold Max Johnson out too long and someone is going to call the police and you might spend a night in lock-up.

Well LSU player that is out for the game is already signaling to his teammates that they are going to take a L tomorrow

My experience from long ago was that if you stayed on Bourbon Street, you were safe. Get off on a side street and all bets were off. But that was a long time ago, and that city has been through a lot.

I haven't been to New Orleans since the early 90's, but even back then it wasn't safe to stray away from Bourbon Street.

Show has its moments, and, i'm sure i'm in the vocal minority. There are so many better shows out there.

If you have nothing else to binge, go for it. But if you went on with your life, you arent missing anything truly spectacular.

The new LoTR prequels blow it out of the water.

You sir, are out of your gotdang mind. The first 5 seasons of GoT were amazing. 6 and 7 were very good and 8 had a couple of good episodes, one great episode, two ok episodes and one "WTF was that?" episode. Still, it sets the standard for live action Fantasy and is one of the all around best TV shows of all time.

I'm enjoying Rings Of Power for the most part but it isn't particularly well cast, doesn't stick to the lore or timeline, doesn't feel like Tolkien's work at all and has very little action. The Harfoots are insanely annoying (no wonder they are scared everyone/everything wants to kill them), Galadriel is a hot-headed fool who is not likeable and the first season is almost over with almost nothing happening.....Galadriel vs the troll early on, a fairly minor skirmish with Adar's forces (definitely not a war or even a battle really) and a volcano erupting.
The best characters have been completely non-canon and they major canonical characters have mostly sucked.

Once again, Amazon decided to display their hubris in thinking they can write better story and build a more interesting world. I will say that for all my complaints I do think it's decent but that's probably just me being relieved that it isn't as much of a steaming turd as Wheel Of Time. They butchered WoT so badly that I was extremely pissed every time I watched an episode and Rings of Power doesn't make me feel that way.....it just makes me laugh at how inept the showrunners are. WoT was pure woke garbage with horrible casting, complete butchery of the source material and just bad TV.....F everyone involved in that show right in the A. There was one good scene in 8 hours of TV and that was the Blood Snow scene where Tigraine (Maiden Of The Spear fighting with the Aiel) took out a bunch of armored warriors while giving birth.

GoT nailed casting perfectly and was true to the story, style and tone of the books until they ran out of source material in late seasons. WoT didn't even bother with trying and gave the middle finger to book fans......
