Pluto is just a moon of the sun. I don’t get why that’s so hard for people to just accept and move on.

It's still a planet, just not one of the "big 8". It's now considered a dwarf planet, along with about 100 other dwarf planets. Considering no one wants to teach kids 100+ planets, it is what it is.
