This sounds like a dead or low cell. Had a newer battery that acted just like what you have been describing. Took it back to the auto parts store, they tested and then replaced it. No more problems.
Had a similar issue. Starter was dragging so I replaced it. Starter quit dragging. But when I cranked it, the radio would lose the station memory. I had checked the battery voltage a couple of times and it was 12.3 or 12.4. (Should really be 12.8 or so). Was going to check voltage while cranking (like @StoVol suggested above). Checked it after sitting for a couple of days and it was 10.8. New battery, problem solved.

I have read that nonsense as well…. Makes me laugh every time.

Well I got news for you: Kentucky wanted me to tell you that they’re coming, and h*ll’s coming with ‘em!

(Oh, and they also wanted me to tell you that you can get 2x Fuel Points with any purchase of kitchen accessories at participating Kroger Marketplace locations.)

Have done that, part of why I came on here asking for advice/ideas. Meter has always shown 12v on battery and 14v when running. I even put the battery under load (after cleaning it up). Heater running full blast and lights on bright and it still read 14v.

I am hopeful it was the loose positive cables and/or the corrosion on the negative terminal. I also noticed the ground bolt and wire to the battery was a bit rusted. So I'll likely remove that and clean it up or replace it if I have anymore issues pop up.
Hopefully that will resolve the issue.

Funny...he said pretty much the same thing I did about us. We have to focus on destroying whoever the next team up is and don’t start thinking ahead to "scenarios". If we don't...the clock will strike midnight and everything will turn to crap real quick.

If this team comes out focused they can and should destroy UK, USC and Mizzou...but conversely we could lose those games if we start getting sloppy...heck Georgia almost lost to freaking Mizzou and they have one of the 4 most stacked rosters in CFB.

There is only one team in CFB that I believe we would have no shot at beating, but there are a ton of teams that can beat us if we don't play well.

Who is the one team we have no shot at beating?

Not while its running whats it dropping to at start, i maintenance generators and do this daily and a weak battery is worse to diagnose than a bad one, if it drops below 11 then put a diff battery in and see if that clears it up, if not on to ignition and alternator

Edit id start it about 5 times and look at voltages as it starts

F'n Akron..🤬 we do need to get him on the field so he can hurry up and get back to reminding everyone how good he is and maybe play so great that he can make back up the money those stupid f'ers could have caused him to lose in the draft.
You don't make money abusing a team like UTM. As long as he's back for KY, UGA, and the rest of the SEC schedule, he can impress scouts and increase his draft stock. Make the playoffs and he'll really have a chance to impress.

You're exactly right. It just seems to me Saban has been throwing a little shade at his DC every since the game.
Self-proclaimed "greatest defensive mind" needs a scapegoat! It's a really bad look for a guy who brags that he controls every detail of his team when he wins. 😂 Heupel opened up more of the play book. Saban got out-coached.

Yeah, Tillman is going to be fine, what’s really funny is I worry about things like that for the players too 😂 He’ll be okay
