I agree with all this except that they don’t have a WR that can scare people. Barion Brown is good and has big play potential.. but he is limited by their offense. I wouldn’t say were scared of him, but you have to account for him for sure. He’s their best explosive play guy. If you look at his game against Ole Miss, he had 2 explosive plays on offense (only had 2 catches though) AND something like 180 yards on special teams. So he’s dynamic and we will have to account for him. As long as we play solid special teams and don’t allow him to beat us there, I like our defense to be able to stop him from explosive plays on offense. We play a “keep everything in front of you” defense anyways and like you said, Levis won’t have much time to throw.

Bold = key, he's good but most his threat is on returns since their OL can't protect well enough for him to really exploit people in the passing game.

Really? How come Garner is getting the most out of the guys he has? Why can he improve his guys while Martinez’s guys seem to still be terrible?
Hey troll BOT, no negative recruiting our top prospects' in their threads. It's a constant pattern with you. Take it somewhere else or log off.

Jack, I've heard this before but I can't help it. I'm shaking right now. I've got a full TENNESSEE heart, tears in my eyes, and ready to whoop somebody... again.

Big Josh and Dale Jones gets me fired up!

I'd pull the feathers off a Skyhawk right now!

I love birds but them freaking crows in my yard are about to get a handful of rocks thrown at them. Nothing personal crows, you're just in the wrong place, at the wrong time.

Goodness gracious....
What a rush!

No, I think they're a good matchup.

Their strength is the running game. They have talented but inexperienced WRs and Levis is turnover-prone. We make teams pay for turnovers as good as anyone in the country. Our defensive front is the strength of our defense and their offensive front is their weakness. Our defense is geared toward stopping the run, forcing turnovers, and forcing negative plays. We will do enough of that to make up for what we surrender in the passing game.

Kentucky won't keep us below 40, and I don't see them being able to keep that pace offensively. Levis will get desperate, they'll have to throw, and he will try to force it.
The key is Levis has only gone one game without turning it over and it was an 8 point win over 2-5 Northern Illinois.

Five INT's and 3 lost fumbles on the year for him and we are gonna be in his grill all night wearing black.

It'll be a small miracle if they don't turn it over.

It's really hard to see us losing this. We'll have to play like we did at Pitt. Like completely forget how to run our offense, drop passes, get a ton of penalties, muff a punt...

Y’all, I had someone close to me recently diagnosed with early onset dementia. I have been fairly stoic about it, but all this love Pat Summitt has got me crying on my lunch break about it.

Make sure you hug the people you love every chance you get.

My brother has Alzheimer’s. He was diagnosed at age 52. That is not a typo. 52. If to say it has worried me that I might get diagnosed is an understatement. He just turned 57 and I’m 52. In 5 years it has devastated his short term memory, lost his job and now on disability. Just a terrible disease that is heartbreaking watching their downward spiral. Words can’t explain.

My personal medical history has no business being aired on VN. Besides, I was told size is not as important as society has lead us to believe and I choose to cling to that notion.
So hung like a…WHITE horse?

So sorry for what you are experiencing as we lost my MIL to that awful disease. Your brother obviously has early onset. My first cousin's best friend developed it in his mid 40's and passed within 5 years. It just hurts your heart to witness.

Anyone else have this problem… ever since yesterday when I click on an embedded tweet it takes me to the browser page for Twitter, then asks to switch to app, then takes me to App Store. Then finally takes me to the native Twitter app.
Mine has been doing that for 2-3 months. Some will open but most take me to Twitter's log in.

@Freak

It's probably @Glitch's fault.... again

Well...you can look at a few things.

1. Experience, Garland, Bumphus, Omari Thomas, Simmons, Terry are all upperclassmen. If you include "edge/olb" you can add Roman, Young & Baron all there as well.
2. Talent outta HS, I know ratings/stars aren't everything but if you look at the DL group (including edge guys) and then look at the secondary you'll see far more stars in RG's group

Oddly enough part of the issue was Pruitt & company recruiting.

2020 class = 1 secondary player higher than a 3 star Key Lawrence who transferred, only other secondary recruit in that class was Slaughter
2021 class = 2 secondary players higher than a 3 star Tank & Fields (who transferred), Burrell and Solomon were the only other secondary players taken and Solomon transferred too
2019 class = Taylor was a 4 star at WR and Bryce was a 4 star ATH, Flowers, Davis, and George Jr were the only other secondary players taken and they were low rated 3 stars

So for some reason Pruitt despite being a secondary and defensive guru never seemed to recruit high rated CBs outta HS. Guess he thought he was -that- good at developing guys? Either way our secondary under the Pruitt staff was one of the worst recruited with little development and the most attrition.

This 2023 class will be the first with a legit 4 star CB in it since 2016 with Tyler Byrd (since Taylor/Bryce weren't listed as CBs outta HS). So I think Willie/Banks are aware of what they need to do, they've done good with transfers to try and fill the gaps but bringing in Jordan Matthews, Sylvester Smith, Rickey Gibson, will help and they are pursuing more talent in the 2024 class too.

I've posted this before, but you might find benefit in "The End of Alzheimer's" by Dr. Dale Bredesen.

I have major family history and one copy of the gene that increases risk. In my mid 50s I was already having some issues. Not memory exactly, but struggling to put together complete sentences. After reading that book, I did some of the labs he likes to check (homocysteine, insulin, etc) and sure enough, my levels were bad. Applied several aspects of his program and within two weeks my head was much clearer. That was several years ago. I have only continued to improve, and at 58, I really see no evidence of anything abnormal.
