Yeah man Big Josh nailed it and then the reaction to that call by Dale Jones was everything.

I haven't felt like we had a coach that had that sort of respect and passion for the game since Fulmer. So glad Josh Heupel gets it he knows exactly what it means to Big Josh and how Dale Jones feels as well. That's the sort of leadership you want creating a winning culture for your program.

It's all about wins and losses. However, this could be a good weekend for Hooker and the Vols to tighten the race.

So, if you are not satisfied with how the DBs have played and complain about WM, then you don't know much about football?

I'm guessing the number of fans that are satisfied with the DB play is very low. The DBs struggled last year too.
I don’t think the DBs are terrible. Bama and Florida QBs escaped our rush to extend plays. Both made some perfect throws into tight windows. Also, after 6-8 seconds, someone is going to get open. Not saying we have the best DB play. Just don’t think it as bad as some.
One more thing: they are spending a LOT of time on the field. When the opposing offense puts together a 5-8 minute drive then our offense scores in a minute 10……they get worn down I expect.

Mine has been doing that for 2-3 months. Some will open but most take me to Twitter's log in.

@Freak

It's probably @Glitch's fault.... again

Not my fault. @frank ripped my unchecked notifications from me, along with my bbq and cheagle privileges. We need to check the air return as it is probably clogged with purple @Weezer fur and needs to be changed.

I didn’t get to watch the UK vs UF game. This was where the hype train left the station for UK before it returned to the station where it should stay 3 games later against Ole Miss.

Just perusing the stats and scoring summary and I knew UK had a pick 6 but man, 2 out of their 3 TDs were essentially from the defense with a pick 6 and another INT that gave them the ball at the UF 6 yard line. Their other TD was just a really nice 55 YD TD catch by the UK WR but it was a 50/50 catch against good coverage.

So one deep shot that was a contested, tough catch was the only offensive TD that UKs offense generated and it was still not really a sustained drive but an explosive play that was just as much lucky as good, really.

I mean look at UKs scoring drives:

First score- TD. 2 plays, one 12 yard completion, and 1 55 YD TD completion. (67 of Levis 202 total yards passing was from this drive. 33%)

Second Score- TD. Came off of an interception that UK returned to the 6 yard line. UK rushed 3 times to score. Missed Extra point.

Third score- FG. 11 plays, 69 (nice) yards. Levis only had 1 pass complete for 25 yards. Rest of yards all rushing. Best drive of game for them.

Fourth score- UK pick 6 for 65 yards.

(UK misses the 38 yard FG after getting a 4th down stop at UF 40. Moved it 20 yards and on 3 rushes.)

Fifth score- FG. Napier goes for it on 4th with 4 minutes left in the game at own 24. UK stops it, moves it 16 yards, kicks FG.

The rest of UKs drives that didn’t end in points were an average of 18 yard drives. Had four 3 and outs. Yeah.. that offense doesn’t scare me at all.

I remember when they dressed in church clothes for those introductions…
I remember when they rode chariots with spikes on the wheels and threw spears and stuff at wild animals. . .

Also, wish we'd enact the model that allows each team the ability to unleash their mascot on the opposing team once a game. Rifleman shooting someone or smoky eating someone would definitely spice things up.

Big Josh is the one that needs to represent the TN fans on ESPN, NOT Andy Bowser or whatever his name is.

Big Josh knows what he's talking about, the other guy is an embarrassment to the color Orange and the TENNESSEE VOLUNTEERS fanbase
I hope the whole UT Athletic Department, coaching staff, and players hear that and feel what it's like to be a lifelong VOL fan. The older fans don't have time "for some idiot" to tear it down again and wait for another rebuild. I think DW, JH, Boyd, and maybe Plowman understand the great monster that is VOLNATION. That FL fan said " TN could be 0-11 and the fans would still fight you over the VOLS" and he nailed it. We are the best fan base in America.
