So Friday they did a mobile chest x-ray on OH because the nurse didn't like what she didn't hear in his lungs and she called me later that evening to tell me OH has pneumonia which for him is super serious and scary. His confusion has also been up and down because his sodium and potassium levels are both down.

I've been doing my best to take care of everything but my parents are out of town this week and so I have no help and I'm worried about the declines his nurse is warning me about (things like I don't want you blindsided weigh heavy). Anyways someone called and I run to the door to see if it's a delivery for one of his many meds. It's not so I run back up to try and get the confused OH back to a safe area. Too late. He loses his balance and grabs the tv in our bedroom and pinches the screen hard.

So now I've got a very sick OH and need to buy a new tv when my parents return. I've got I think 3 days to get one once they get back. Normally it wouldn't matter but football! It's far less important than OH's health but it's a mental respite for me to have it.

Could def. use your thoughts and prayers right now.

Correct, some of these streaming platforms have agreements with certain content providers.

It's all about the 'skin' or user interface (how you interact) with layout, use remote versus phone, and the content chosen or available.

Firestick is like the old Chromecasts which is plugged via USB.

I found it restrictive with content, versus Roku private channels in research. Id planned to jailbreak a FS, then got sidetracked. Wanted to buy one, then saw the $.

Roku seems like a more open platform. And, it isnt Amazon.

(One negative on Roku is they get into content Wars sometimes with providers, instead of negotiating they just flip the bird).

But my stock holds fast.

@WillAtSpyre have you all considered non-linear marketing?

SEO's and point specific marketing to Vol fans on facebook and or the instagrams would open those PURSES and wallets.

I'm sure you have waay more contacts and knowledge than I.

Just a thought.

It takes about 5-10 minutes to jailbreak a firestick…. I’m doing one for my wife’s friend this weekend.

I sent him details on the strategy I've implemented for my employer that has drastically increased our reach on social media. Never heard back. You're right...social media marketing is huge. So many Vol fans on FB, but many still haven't heard of Spyre. They're going to have to do something to gain interest and build some trust with those folks before they'll commit. Like I said, I sent him a strategy that has worked very well for me. Maybe he ignored it because I sent it from my anonymous email address and not one they have on file as a member. I don't even want anything in return if they go that route. Just trying to help.

where are you taking them?

what apps do you actually need? My smart TV has everything and the Samsung interface is just one less extra step than waiting for a firestick or roku to come up.
