As in dies completely. I have an irrational fear it is going to happen during football season. Maybe even the middle of a Tennessee game! Thought I would just go get another one. Did not realize it is so complicated now!
TVs aren’t that complicated….. just depends on what you want…. Streaming sounds complicated but it’s really not.

Is it upscaling 4K to 8K? Who is actually broadcasting/streaming true 8K content? Also, what internet speed would you need to stream 8K content? I have 1gig, and it's difficult to stream 4K at times although that could be the Firestick 4k not always connecting to 5ghz, for some reason connecting to 2.4gnz on my mesh network.

Actually, I don't think there is much out there for 8K but it made a big difference in the picture for us cause our 65 inch was several years old and we put it in the bedroom. So mainly for us it was updating the technology after several years. Not sure if I have even seen anything 8k yet. Not saying that there isn't out there I just don't think I have seen it. But some of these Nerds on here would know more about that than me.lol

When I was in college I lived in Neyland Hills apartments overlooking the river. My front door/balcony faced the river and the Vol Navy right across the street. The stadium was a quick trip under the rail road bridge and through the fence.
We would start the day walking around The Fort meeting random people and drinking their beer. Then we came back and returned the favor to passerby. Then onto the game. Those Saturdays stretched on forever.
If there’s a heaven, that’s it.

They really did. It was so fun, especially when we were winning all the time. It still is a lot of fun, but the energy/atmosphere was so positively charged. It just made for the longest, best days.

I’ve seen videos of some gaming at 8k, but requires a very expensive (but not as much right now as a few months ago) video card. Not much other 8k content.

Haven’t been to a game in years. This time just me and my wife. What’s the BBQ place everybody talks about on here? Where else should we try? We’ll eat around 4, campus near campus, or off campus, don’t matter… coming from Nashville area.

You have your choice of a few Applebee's.

The announcement of being able to watch four streams at once has me interested in YouTube tv again. I used to have a buddies login and loved it. The Bally sports thing is the hold up for me though. I was reading however and apparently September 26th Bally is starting a Bally sports + which to my understanding will allow you to stream Bally sports without a cable subscription and just pay a fee for their app. If they do that I’ll probably switch to YouTube tv. I still have cable but YouTube tv is a very friendly live stream option. The dvr and potential to watch four games at once puts it above cable for me. Never thought I’d cut the cord. Still might not but we will see
The last time I looked into that option, Bally only had agreements with 4 or 5 times to put their games on the Bally+ platform...so just be sure to make sure your team will be available on it.
