No, same phone. Ticketmaster App, UT app, or Apple/Google wallet are all used by the stadiums entry system. Although this video doesn’t mention Ticketmaster app I don’t think but a video a few weeks ago did.

Instead of just saying, "well Johnny threw an incompletion" (which is the only thing traditional box stats record) when really Johnny threw the ball directly to the DB, who just happened to drop the easy interception, it is graded similar to an INT.

Or imagine a guy that gets to the QB and forces him to throw it away. Traditional box stats show nothing (semi-advanced stats will at least show a QB hurry). PFF grades it accordingly.

Also why many are befuddled by some players' grades...they don't and won't always align closely with traditional stats. Because traditional stats are broken, in that way.

It's like in poker if you go all-in with 27 and beat Aces. Well...the outcome was good (traditional stats view) but the process was poor. This is the big difference between process-oriented analysis vs outcome-oriented analysis, which is pretty much garbage in every field. That is, it's a very poor predictor of future success vs analyzing the process/decision that led up to the play.

They don’t know what each player was actually assigned to do on each play, so much of their grading is based on conjecture.

I mean, the tweet is sorta silly...and from a UGA fan. 10 of those guys played in 5 or fewer games. That's just a blunt statement with no analysis. A 70+ grade also isn't all that special.

Just stating you have depth. That's hardly surprising they would have depth.

Sure, they openly address that. They can also grade a play neutrally if it seems unclear whose fault a bust's was.

But I digress. This is trying to compare to an idealistic system where both the coach and opponent's coach sit down and grade everything with full knowledge. Will never happen. It's meant to be an improved system over traditional stats and that's what it does.

Both NFL and college programs use them to some degree...and for a reason. A bunch of college analysts to try work for them too.

I am only 29 and use my phone for boarding passes and even tickets to other sporting events but the thought of having to rely on my phone to be charged and for things to load appropriately at the gate at Neyland around 100k people trying to do the same thing after tailgating all day quite honestly gives me anxiety. If you get stubhub tickets you can’t put them in your Apple wallet and have to rely on cell service if screenshots don’t work. That’s terrifying with service on game day.

Good for you. I am just making them aware of what the issues are. Also, some of the info I read said that it IS illegal to stream unlicensed content. Everyone should stream at there own risk.

People turn other people in for streaming unlicensed movies and content.

What could drive a man to do such things?

I was just stating that I had never had an issue with malware and don’t know anyone that has had an issue….I wasn’t really giving advice on what to use…. Just what I prefer….When directv took off a couple of my favorite channels…. Replaced them with stupid crap like dog tv and raised my bill by 50 dollars…. I decided to find other ways watch tv.
