Yep as a long suffering Pirates fan, I still have nightmares about that series. They were literally engraving Wakefiled's name on the series MVP trophy at the start of the 9th inning. He was also warming up in the bullpen when Sid rounded 3rd and Barry Bonds was loafing in left field.

But I think it has to be the combo “straggle-hold”. Stand-alone “straggle” is too broad.

Defense is really straggling the life out of the opposing offenses.

Refs are at least straggling the line here and calls haven’t been too one sided.

Opposing defenses are really straggling to keep us from hitting 50-burgers.

I agree, I'd love some of the free bets. I don't think we'll see as many promos and free bets this year. The drug dealers only give out so many free hits of crack.

Jeez, I'm out of form, was reading the lines all wrong. They dont have 1st qtr total pts for Tenn yet, just 1st qtr game total @ o/u14.5. That is a pretty nice bet though. Ball State gets 3, we know we're getting 14.
