Just think in 7 days we will know how close we are. There will be no doubt about what we have to work with, who has improved and where we will need to improve quickly. The time it takes us to adjust during and the weeks following each game will make or break this season. We have the horses as, as young as some may be but last year proved CJH has a system, now if they can mesh, this could be a fun year to say the least.

Curb stomping patsies while helpful for the inexperienced and to see the depth players, it’s not going to show us fans how we will look against top 25 teams. JMO, TIFWIW, AARP

Hoping they hire someone who can eloquently describe the minutae, which is necessary to convey the beauty absolute - the poetry in motion that is American Football. In Thoreau's 'Walden' he describes the beauty of nature, glimmer of light bouncing off wind blown pond, golden light filtered by leaves flittering tossed by the gentle breezes. Like Tennessee's football coach said his players had to lift weights during the season because they werent strong enough.

Your first move should pull their head forward. 2nd move the hardest part of your skull will impact their face at a high velocity. The second they let go, you run away, oh and scream as loud as you can throughout the entire encounter.

I totally agree with keeping your head on a swivel. I let a group of pickpockets know that I saw them in Italy and they bugged out. (They made the mistake of thinking my Orange Tennessee shirt marked me as a easy tourist target)

I was swimming in a pool recently and my oldest son jumped on me thinking he was going to be able to dunk me. I didn’t have to use strength at all…. I just used the pressure point under his nose and controlled him whatever direction I wanted him to go…..This old man still has a few tricks.

More of a commentary on how men used to casually dress as opposed to today's attire. Obviously partisans will try to blend in, just look at Ukraine where people were fighting in Under Armor sweats shortly after the invasion. I can't imagine wearing a 3 piece wool suit in Mexico, but these guys were kicking names and taking really dapper pictures.

I was swimming in a pool recently and my oldest son jumped on me thinking he was going to be able to dunk me. I didn’t have to use strength at all…. I just used the pressure point under his nose and controlled him whatever direction I wanted him to go…..This old man still has a few tricks.

My son is 2.5, and he is gigantic pressure point. He uses it to kick, punch, scratch me on the daily. I sometimes question is he is my child or progeny of Jimmy 'Super Fly' Snuka.

His fave thing to do is to Sting splash into my face.

It's highly effective.

When I was in college I lived in Neyland Hills apartments overlooking the river. My front door/balcony faced the river and the Vol Navy right across the street. The stadium was a quick trip under the rail road bridge and through the fence.
We would start the day walking around The Fort meeting random people and drinking their beer. Then we came back and returned the favor to passerby. Then onto the game. Those Saturdays stretched on forever.
If there’s a heaven, that’s it.

i got a little teary eyed reading that. you probably have memories that will last a lifetime!
