HBCU's were established when many universities were segregated and wouldn't allow black enrollment. They continue to exist because they provide are institutes of higher learning. The term "HBCU" does not mean they only accept black enrollment. It's just a reference to their origins. So what’s the point of a HBCU?
I coached golf at one. Great history and traditions. Very proud institutionsHBCU's were established when many universities were segregated and wouldn't allow black enrollment. HBCU's are not segregated. At least a couple have higher white enrollment than they do black enrollment. HBCU is just a reference to their origins during segregation when blacks were not allowed to enroll in many "white" universities....way to hit and run there Dirtman. I think segregation is wrong...and that's all I'm going to say about that.
Can you imagine if Will Levis actually goes on to be a HoF NFL QB after sucking at the college level?Excited to be able to tell my kids that I watched future HoFer Will Levis live and in-person. Honestly don't even care about the outcome of the game tonight. Just a big Will Levis fan. Hope a hushed awe comes over Neyland every time he drops back to pass with that cannon of an arm.
Same for Georgia.. I looked up their TFL’s and they aren’t that great. Same with sacks and pressure creating turnoverslots of talk about the Vols secondary
but not as much talk about how UK ranks just as low at getting TFLs, getting Sacks, sacks allowed and tackles for loss allowed. All that will make for a long night.
