That is good to know.HBCU's were established when many universities were segregated and wouldn't allow black enrollment. They continue to exist because they provide are institutes of higher learning. The term "HBCU" does not mean they only accept black enrollment. It's just a reference to their origins.
Good to know....I just want everybody to have the same opportunities. What people do with those opportunities may not have equal outcomes, but that is on the individual.HBCU's are not segregated. At least a couple have higher white enrollment than they do black enrollment. HBCU is just a reference to their origins during segregation when blacks were not allowed to enroll in many "white" universities.
And you end up paying back the insurance company several times over when they double your premiums.Oh no I have had several. If I could trade a finger in the ass for all my stuff back I’d tell the Dr. to grab a glove lube up and get to it. Even after insurance claims and all this years work I’m still in the red.
Do you not know the history of HBCUs? I'm not sure I understand the question. They're very important to African-American history and advancement. To this day a lower class/poverty level African-American is like 30% more-likely to progress to middle class with an HBCU degree than degree from another university. They produce more black judges, lawyers, politicians, etc than other universities by a longshot. Quick google search: They generate $14.8B in economic impact annually. So what’s the point of a HBCU?
I doubt $1000 is "life-changing", but it certainly doesn't suck. It's very generous of him, tho.OchoCinco seems like a good dude. He leaves these massive tips on $15 dollar bills all the time. That’s probably life changing money for some of these servers that live paycheck to paycheck. Good on him.
