Honestly it’s not even that per se if you watch his routes he runs what I would like to call “lag” routes. It is crazy how he seems to just get lost back there.
I'm glad they passed on us. None of them could do what Heupel has done. The man is our Moses. After wandering in the wilderness, he's leading us to the promised land. Just need to part that red and black sea next week.I'll say it again. All the coaches that took a pass on coming here (as if we're a second tier school)...hahaha
I have said it since last year…that is one of the most impressive things about Heupel and this staff. They always have a game plan in place that will allow us to be effective and win, but it’s always based on who we have available and who we are playing. Better competition and we ratchet up the playbook.Am I the only one that thought the playcalling was mostly very simple? It really reminded me of the playcalling against the weaker teams on the schedule...as if Heupel knew they could crush Kentucky without having to get creative.
I feel a little bad for the kid. I know he made his own bed, but if he had just been willing to humble himself and take RG's teaching, I think he could have made the NFL. DM has just made bad decision after bad decision.I’m glad he ain’t here.We have players that want to play as a team and a coach that can get them to play as a team.
His nephew, Brandon Johnson, played WR here before transferring to UCF.
I bet @Bassmaster_Vol voted "no".
Yes but that’s what I’m trying to say about the team thing. It just seems to me that it’s all about him and it’s pretty obvious since he has transferred so much.He sure doesn’t fit the culture aspect that Heupel has instilled in this team.I feel a little bad for the kid. He needs to set his daughter up with Jalin. Imagine the Vol legacies we could get from that union....He's been taking visits with his daughter who is a track star. He was at the Tenn-LSU game and that's where he spotted Hyatt. He loved Hyatt even more after TSIO. He was here because his daughter is being recruited for our track team and has also let it be known that he admires Hyatt's game a ton.
I agree, I just think the young man has never gotten out of his own way. He seems talented, so it's a shame to see that talent so wasted. A lot of unfulfilled potential.Yes but that’s what I’m trying to say about the team thing. It just seems to me that it’s all about him and it’s pretty obvious since he has transferred so much.He sure doesn’t fit the culture aspect that Heupel has instilled in this team.
