I couldn’t help thinking last night about those players that picked KY over us because they thought KY was going to be superior. If you were one of the many players that left (especially those that left for what you thought would be greener pastures at a program like OU that seemed to be a playoff contender at the time) what on Earth must you be thinking now? Let this sink in guys and gals - we started the year unranked and people are now debating whether or not we should be number 1 in the first playoff poll! Hollywood couldn't green light a script like this because there'd be a jaded producer telling you that audiences simply wouldn't buy it.
And we're not doing it with 5*s. We have some dudes but this roster was CFB's version of the Bad News Bears when Heupel took over.
Didn't Coach Heup give the NFL a shot as a player? I think he understands what's different with that game and the college game. This is my feeling as well. Also, he’s a smart guy and has seen that the vast majority of coaches who’ve gone from one to the another fails miserably. The games are not the same, and it’s a rare person to bridge that gap.
They are all thinking, "I wish they hadn't run me off for taking illegal payments."If you were one of the many players that left (especially those that left for what you thought would be greener pastures at a program like OU that seemed to be a playoff contender at the time) what on Earth must you be thinking now? I love my mother with all my heart and her sickness and death devastated me to my soul...and mom jokes make me chuckle.Hole is right although he could have said it nicer…. People spend too much time trying to prevent things that may offend them instead of learning how to not be offended…. I have a daughter that had absentee seizures which caused her to be socially awkward and developmentally delayed…. She had started getting bullied at school. Instead of running up to the school to try and bubble wrap her to try to prevent from feeling bad…. I taught her how to have pride in herself and to stand up for herself… She was very proud of herself when she stood up for herself and the bullies started leaving her alone…. she even made some new friends.
Being offended by the term mouth breather( been around for ever) or the people that were offended by weezer and jackcrevol’s mom jokes are being ridiculous… it obviously had nothing to do with that person’s son or anyone else’s mom.
Exactly61% of adults identify as having to breathe through their mouths. I have a severely deviated septum and almost exclusively have to breathe through my mouth.
Using "mouth breather" as an insult really doesn't move the needle for me, and I'm usually accused of being sensitive to stuff like that. I've never seen anyone actually be offended by it. It really means nothing. Its a very old phrase that describes the stupid look on someone's face when their mouths are casually hanging open. It doesn't actually mean people who breath through their mouths are dumb, and I'd like to encourage whoever truly is bothered by that phrase to think about that.
You'd be very alert too if you lived with @Ulysees E. McGillShe is such a beautiful cat and easy to look at..pretty eyes and very alert.
I've had my nose broken several times and I have the same issues. That sucks man. Has surgery been an option? I’m only 26, but I have pretty bad sinus issues too and am about 50/50 on breathing through my mouth. Some days are better than others, but my dad said surgery helped him. It just hasn’t gotten bad enough for insurance to cover it for me yet.
This is where the WR hit turf:

This was where he got spotted:

The next play Levis also got a ridiculous spot, this was the drive with the first pick after Slaughter blew up that WR. Obviously it didn't matter, but how in the hell are officials this bad at spotting where someone was down? Hell the Umpire is staring directly at the WR as he hit the ground.
