University Center….. it’s where they have chic fil a/ steak and shake and other things on campus now…. The old one use to have a movie theatre that you could watch earlier big games on…. Down under is where my friends and I hung out…. We usually bring down Burger King from the old UC(had several options)….. it had pool tables, bowling alley, arcade games, and big screen TVs with all the games on them…. We would hang out there till walking on over to the stadium.
I've never "tailgated" there on game days but have many great memories of the old UC (haven't been inside the new one). The best is that my last (spring) "quarter" at UT (yes, I'm that old), I took bowling as a fun elective - the teacher was Pat Head (the year before she married). She was cool & very funny & yes, was the head coach of the Lady Vols & teaching a P.E. class & yes, Title IX had already been enacted.

Chase had 84 rec for 1780 with 20 tds. Of course that included the two playoff games. The 20 tds is well within reach in four remaining regular season games. I simply think the national media is looking to pump up Marvin Harrison Jr who’s slightly behind stats wise…but tOSU. Hard to generate a non-QB candidate this season and the Big 10 already has Blake Corum occupying that spot as a running back. Would be great…not disagreeing.

Could benefit us...if the Midwest splits their votes between CJ, Harrison and Corum.

Same. My daughter is a freshman in college. She'd been to one game in her life (the 2015 GA game, which was a good one!), but never been into it. She decided to go to the Alabama game with me and man has she caught the fever. Got a sweatshirt, is probably gonna get a Hyatt shersey. She was babysitting until 8pm this past Saturday and asked me to wait until she got home to start watching. We send each other posts from the various social media sites about Tennessee stuff.
Love it!!! 🧡🧡🧡

Just jumping in here, didn’t see origin of this convo. Devonta Smith Heisman year…

117 catches, 1,856 yds, 23 TDs…. That’s just stupid.

Hyatt could get the tds.

I see this every day with various businesses. It's astonishing.
It really is...I think it is even more true in sports. A guy may be among the greatest position coaches, but absolutely suck at coordinating, or be great at coordinating but horrible at running a program.

There is a lot to be said for ambition, but there is even more to be said for knowing your limits and excelling within them.
