We've not played in the SECG since 2007, and haven't won one since 1998.

So honestly as much as a Natty would be nice, I think beating Georgia and going to the SECG and winning it would be more than enough for me this season. It's nice to know we could still be in the CFP after a loss though, but I'd love to know that in the calendar year of 2022 we won the SEC Tournament in the big 3 sports.
I think HH has said the team's goal is to win (or get to?) the SEC championship.

I cant speak for others, but for me, Supercuts coming on here running his mouth, running down UT, running down UT’s NIL, etc etc etc…was that Supercuts the Loose Cannon or Supercuts the Intentional Plant?

That whole fiasco soured me most on NPA. No, you can’t send every kid to UT, but don’t be actively trying to blow up UT and then get hurt feelings when ppl call you out for it.
I will judge NPA from this point forward…. I don’t really blame anyone for having beef back them with the way the university was run….. it’s a new day…. Bring everyone back in( even Arian Foster is on board) and LFG!!!

I realized long ago that betting on the Vols ruins the enjoyment for me.

I remember betting on the basketVOLs a lot when Grant & co. were winning. And I'd get frustrated even after wins because they'd miss the spread. Not a huge betting guy anyway, but realized pretty quick that was a terrible idea for me at least.

It definitely can. I’m careful about what I bet on related to UT. Used to never bet UT games in any sport until I joined the 1Q boys. That’s usually all I bet. I do wish I would have thrown down a HendoCinco for Heisman or SEC/National Championship bets though.

Just jumping in here, didn’t see origin of this convo. Devonta Smith Heisman year…

117 catches, 1,856 yds, 23 TDs…. That’s just stupid.

Hyatt could get the tds.
We run and spread the ball around too much for that to happen..plus Saban had them playing to the end in every game. I always thought it was stupid...but what do I know. If we really wanted HH to win the Heisman, then we should have him out there padding stats in every game...but Heupel is more into the team winning, getting backups playing time and keeping key players healthy than players winning individual awards.

I hate that fake account. It just causes so much noise. And the fact that a large portion of our fans know that the tweets are fake makes it look like we are in on the joke. Just a weird thing to create and foster, especially when we (finally) have so many REAL things to post about and share together.

Uh, not in my neighborhood- still going gang busters
Yeah, we bought about forty dollars worth of candy (I thought would be enough), and we were out of candy at 6:30 and turned off porch light and hid lol.. last year we didn’t get many but I think that was because the ‘vid was still going around.. now everyone is just like ‘whatever’ lol.. it was good seeing kids acting like kids again.. one kid looked at his candy we gave out (it was lifesaver gummies and blow pops) and was like ‘what is this?’, one sat on the sidewalk and starting eating some of their candy, and when we turned off our lights because we were out… ‘yall are mean’ 😂

Called a perfect game. Very impressive.

I think long term players appreciate that far more anyway. Take Tillman for example, he could have played before Kentucky and he likely could have avoided missing more games. But there was still a risk of reinjury and ultimately the team could win without him and it allowed Hyatt as well as Keyton to emerge. It also will allow Tillman to have a better shot at finishing the season healthy going into the draft.

Because ultimately the players real reward is making it to the NFL for a big payday. I'm sure Hendon would love to win the Heisman, but I'd say being the first QB drafted would be a far bigger reward for him.
