Which is even more hilarious because Bama's played a much tougher schedule than they have.

UGA sitting btw 75-80 in SOS and their fans are absolutely not trying to hear it lol. Samford,Kent, MIzzou, Vandy, AU, S Carolina.

I also had to hear ab how great UKs D was last week and the whole time tried to point out their garbage schedule.

Bama D gives up 4.25 Yards per play even after getting killed by UT.

UGA D is around 4.6 despite a really bad schedule. And they get zero pressure.

UTs run D gives up less per carry than UGA’s defense does. And our schedule has included Gibbs/Young, Rodriguez, Abanikanda, Carson Steele, Richardson/UFs backs, Jayden Daniels/LSU’s backs.

Huge exposure considering that young people who never saw UT as relevant are giving us attention. We are also extremely popular on Tik Tok which is a bigger deal imo

Can you spell N.I.L.?!?

Volquest was spelling this all out last week. NIL isn't just getting paid to play ball. Better be ready to market yourself and be marketed.

This is huge. More than #2 Michigan and #3 Texas....COMBINED!!

I completely agree. Now days we're offended by anything and everything. And we just look for a reason to be.

Going a different direction, i think some Vol fans search the web for something to be offended by. It's ridiculous some of the things said by a writer or sportscaster that offends them. If it's not 100% complimentary of our team they're offended. Not sure why they're so concerned about what others are saying in the first place.
I agree….. especially when so many good things are being said about us.

I made a $.50 bet in the preseason that UT would win the SECCG. I can cash out for $1.65+/-. Forget for a minute that it's only $.50. Imagine it's $5k and you could cash out for $16.5k. . . or whatever $ you want to put in there that would cause you to really consider the cash-out. . .

The question is, do you cash out right now, knowing a loss this Saturday will lose the bet? Or do you let it ride, knowing a win means you likely play for the title, but not guaranteed to win?

Double down.

Wouldn't the fact that we also beat Bama mean anything, regardless if we lost to Georgia?

Not if Bama beats UGA. Bama's win over UGA and UGA's win over UT would both be more recent in that scenario and they would both probably be ahead of us with Bama being a lock due to winning the SECC as their 12th win. No way we get in under that scenario unless there is only 1 other undefeated team and even then, it's unlikely that 3 SEC schools get in the CFP. We have to win or become UGA fans for 1 game if we want a shot at the NC.

My brother's got a $10k payout on it if we win. I convinced him to bet on Hooker winning the Heisman in August and he went all in on UT. Wish he had convinced me to make that bet too!

Tennessee was unranked in the ap top 25 and may tonight reach number one.

I can't find other instances of this happening. What did Miss st start the year at that time they beat Alabama and did they hit number 1?

Mississippi State was not ranked preseason and got to #1 after beating ranked LSU, A&M, and Auburn. They lost to Alabama and then to Ole Miss.
