I really do not understand the one-sided narrative that is being pushed. Georgia had arguably 3-4 plays that were the difference in the game.

52 yard pass that set up their 1st TD. (Bennett should have been sacked on 3rd and 10, instead scores a TD.)

75 yard punt that was downed at the 1 yard line. (Georgia gets short field and scored on 37 yard TD pass.)

49 yard wheel route to a RB sets up Georgia's final TD.

138 of Georgia's 387 yards came on 3 plays. We had 7 false starts and gave up 6 sacks. We had a pass intercepted in the endzone and a turnover on downs basically inside the red zone.

Honestly, I think Georgia could not replicate this kind of performance again. We did more damage to ourselves than Georgia did, IMO.

Georgia absolutely dominated and kicked out azz….. the good thing is when we play them in the playoffs…. They will use the same game plan…. We will make adjustments.

No, I myself am claiming that is exactly what they are seeking to do. It would be a "super bowl" for Mizzou (or the Capon Commanders) to knock us out. They would brag about it for 100 years. I'd like our team to massacre them for even thinking it, for simply wishing to win. Let the wrath of Rocky Top crush Mizzou into dust for the mere presumption of walking into Neyland. Mizzou must be destroyed! This is the way to the playoffs.

I watched Hooker's post game press conference. He really is a good leader, and it's striking to me how he seems to have acquired Heupel's manner of dealing with the press. He never let them coax him into making the dramatic statement to fit the media's game "narrative." He was so well focused, confident, and basically responded to any question by reiterating what he wanted to say. He was completely unruffled.
