A lot can change week to week. For instance, LSU loses this weekend the narrative will shift dramatically. Alabama will be one LSU loss from winning the west after they beat Ole Miss.

Excellent point. No hand wringing from me. If we get screwed by the committee, it will be what it will be. I will never forget this unbelievably epic season!!

We are likely to have the same type path open to us. The staff has to get our strength playing at a high level again, just like UGA had to with their D. We lost the first game to them because our O was poor. Our D could and should have played much better, but it was enough to win the game.

As high scoring as it has been, our O has not played its best game yet. All of you know it, you have seen the mental errors or lack of execution as well as the wut? play calls at times. These occurred more in the UK game or we would have scored over 60 points. Our scheme and overall execution were enough to win that easily because the D stepped up. But against UGA, it has to be executing at a higher level. We laid an egg in a hostile environment and with the second half rain. It happens.

So, what I want to see is the O tighten up its execution and HH to spread the ball to all of the receivers instead of asking Cedric to make the big play. Bru has been terribly underutilized this season as an example. Jalin is always open, get it to him at the right time. Throw the ball away if receivers are covered and the QB running lane is not there. Keep working on the secondary to make them more cohesive. Keep working for the pocket push and to get off blocks by the D-line. Sit Mitchell and play Beasley most of the snaps at LB. Mitchell playing over him is criminal.

The results for the rest of this great season for Vols everywhere rests on that.

Then we will be ready to whip that Georgia azz when we get that shot at them.

Everyone likes to point out those games..... Bama lost their top 2 recievers in the SEC champ game. Everyone likes to forget that Bama was playing FR with no experience in the NCG.

I think recruiting in this day and age has changed entirely due to the NIL. Many of the folks that passed on us last year and the year before are looking around. Playing time is a big thing because many are told they will be able to do this or that and it doesn't play out so they start looking for a better place to land. The transfer portal could be big for us I think. We may pick up a few play makers on both sides of the ball that could help immediately but remember the speed in which we play does not fit every player on offense. I think OL has to be coached up to do what we do and not every "BIG UGLY" can do that. Our needs on defense are basically the same as every other team so time will tell.

I have not looked (I'm lazy) but I wonder how many true freshman have made an impact on the field at any top 25 school. I'm not talking about a big play or two I mean starter.

Biggest mistake anyone can make is giving halfass advice outside of their primary knowledge base.

If we were in the same town, then I would happily see her, listen to her lungs, get labs, Chest X-Ray and treat her.

Trying to do that over the internet would be negligent and show medically poor judgement.
