We are in a similar predicament… Murfreesboro housing prices are insane
Oh it's definitely a sellers market rite now buying Ehhh not so kind.My buddy just sold his little house and made out like a bandit 💰. I was shocked honestly never thought he get remotely what he did.Man only had $63,000 in the house period.He had it sold for $165 and they backed out and within the same day someone jumped back in for $184,000.I was like wow def something I didn't expect and honestly makes me consider selling my house.Im not trying to deal with relocating rite now or I would.

We bought and sold last year in the boro lol I’m hoping this doesn’t come to pass.. my parents have lived here since 1977 from Memphis and have never seen housing prices go down here (boro), ever … we made a nice a chunk last year but had to pony it up on a more expensive house

Last year in boro we got outbid on two houses and had to overbid on the house we are in now.. from selling, a lot if the were heavily financed, foreign, or hardly any money down.. none were local and they were mostly trash bids.. can I say that? When we were on the buying end of things we probably got hosed because the realtors can’t tell you about the other bidders.. I ended up getting so mad at our realtor I told her not to even come to the closing.. it’s a long story lol

Yeah we had similar offers when we sold which was in May. Sold it for over double what we paid for which was nice, but we had to do some persuading to get the buyer we felt was best. There were multiple offers that were 20k over what this one buyer bid but who wrote a really nice note with her offer about seeing herself in the house and it was her first house, so we went to her first and told her if she could match the bids that were 20k over, it was hers. She ended up doing that and got the house. The other two offers that were higher were both investors that were going to rent it out. We wanted better for the house and to give it to someone that would truly make it a home. We were glad she was able to get it.
 
Be so careful with doctor followups post Covid.. have them do ALL the tests! My husband is 46 and healthy and had several strokes.. only thing they could figure was post Covid/ vaccine.. but really never cane out and said it.. chest xrays for everyone over 30 and d-dimer tests should be standard .HTN monitoring, blood glucose monitoring...particularly men, the worst for a lot of folks is actually after the acute symptoms have come and gone.. that concludes my PSA
I’m so sorry to hear about that happening to your husband. I really wish those were standard.
