Well, it has only taken 18 plus years, and I know the stat wasn't kept when I first signed on, but some time in the last couple of weeks my "likes" count has finally exceeded my "post" count. I have over 7,500 posts. Though I have plowed ahead, three yards and a cloud of dust like, I'll probably never earn a cheagle. It's sad. I'm a loyal and die hard Vol fan. Probably helped that my 1st game, the 1965 UCLA game in Memphis was a barn burner. The Vols won 37-34 with Dewey Warren, aka the Swamp Rat, scoring with 39 seconds to go. I was in first grade. My second favorite game attended was against Alabama in 1993 in Birmigham. A Heath Shuler led team broke a 9 game losing streak and tied Bama 17-17. The Vols would begin a streak of their own in two years later in 1995 with Manning taking the helm in 1994.

I got to see a couple of more UCLA games with my Dad who passed away almost 2 years ago. He had brought me to the game in '65. We saw the win in 1997 and the loss in 2008 that was a part of Fulmer's undoing, both in Pasadena. We attended any number of games together over the years. Got to say, this year has been great but didn't get to a game in Neyland. My last game attended was in 2010 when the Vols blew out Ole Miss. My Dad was there. It was a good game. My avatar photo is from that game. Am looking forward to some more great football this year down the stretch. Dad would have been proud. GBO.

TENNESSEE DOWNS U.C.L.A., 37 TO 34; Touchdown by Warren Last 39 Seconds Caps Victory Over Bruins (Published 1965)

CFP hypothetical (realistic) question for the board:
Say Tenn wins out: 11-1
Osu beat meeechigan
Usc loses 1 more along the way.
Tcu loses to baylor, but wins the big 12.

1 seed: uga
2 seed: osu
3 seed: Tenn
Who should be the 4 seed?
Watch it be Notre Dame with wins over Clemson, USC and North Carolina.

How long until Netflix does a new season of last chance U with Kiffin or Prime spending Netflix money on NIL to make a championship run?

That’s a notification ignorer thing. You don’t want to be associated with that crowd. Vile folk, trying to break the board, and such.

I’ve also heard they’re pretty Low T. Doesn’t surprise me.

Potattoes, potatoes .... so he released to his left - managed to roam right along the sideline and was pushed out of bounds as he ran along the edge. You can make a case that he stepped out just prior to the Ole Miss player gently pushing him out. The point is - reverse direction - throw the ball up into the endzone - don't simply go out as you are nudged out. He actually played pretty well prior to that and we could have still won with a little luck. But ideally, a heady qb, most qb's, would toss it into the endzone at least hoping for a miracle. Hooker more or less was in the same position against Alabama and we managed to draw pass interference and score. I will be his biggest cheerleader, but he does have subtle mental areas he can improve on. It is one of the reasons Hooker is Hooker, he is processing a lot each play and making a lot of great decisions. Peyton also did a fair job of studying film and understanding and reading defenses.

It’s hilarious to see your mental gymnastics. It’s Lso hilarious that you haven’t seen Milton as a full time starter this year but have already judged him. Of course he has things to work on. Do you think Hooker is perfect? No. He has been throwing high quite a bit this season. He has made wrong reads. He has thrown bad passes. You are insinuating that Milton doesn’t watch film. Prove it.

Your whole diatribe here is complete BS. Glad you are getting called out on it.

Oh I watch, only time I watch baseball or softball is to support the Vols.

But women’s basketball as a product is atrocious, at least softball is enjoyable and not trying to be baseball.
I'm not a baseball fan in general. Haven't watched a MLB game in 20 years and that includes the world series. I couldn't tell you who even played in it a couple weeks ago. That being said I couldn't miss the Vols play. Love the softball vols too. All women's basketball isn't bad. A bunch is. Used to you had 3-4 teams that got all the talent. Now that limited talent is spread out and it shows.

It's really hard not to love Joe Milton. He's stuck it out, improved in every way from what we've been able to see, and been a great teammate. It would've been easy to go into a shell, leave, or get mad but he just went to work and supported his teammates. He deserves to have a special season when he takes over next year.
